The Regional OSP ConstructionSuperintendent is a crucial role focused on ensuring the successful planning, design, and implementation of Outside Plant infrastructure for data center construction projects across a designated region. This individual will leverage deep technical expertise in OSP construction, including fiber optic and copper cabling, conduit installation, and associated equipment, to provide guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. The OSP ConstructionSuperintendent will play a pivotal role in reviewing project plans, assessing means and methods for construction, participating in the procurement and bid process for resources and equipment, and providing critical coaching and mentorship to project teams. This role involves overseeing multiple projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in OSP construction, especially in fiber network deployment and data center infrastructure, and the ability to manage complex projects, foster team growth, and communicate effectively. This position will work in close collaboration with onsite project managers, supervisors and foreman to coordinate technician work force planning, resource dissemination and coordination, general oversight of field operations while providing technical direction to technicians, maintenance of safety standards, productivity, schedule, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and having a strong understanding of the union contract.
**What You'll Do:**

+ Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance:
+ Review of scope of works, assist in the development of how to execute implementation phases of OSP infrastructure for data center projects, including fiber and copper cable plants, connections, conduits, and supporting infrastructure.
+ Review engineering, design implementation plans and project drawings, Scope of work to ensure alignment with industry standards and project requirements to meet project goals.
+ Perform regular quality checks throughout the construction process to guarantee adherence to specifications and quality standards.
+ Provide expert advice and guidance on troubleshooting and resolving complex OSP construction issues and challenges.
+ Develop and implement the best practices for OSP construction.
+ Means and Methods Review:
+ Develop, Analyze and evaluate proposed OSP construction to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
+ Define and recommend optimal installation techniques, considering factors like terrain, environmental conditions, and budget constraints.
+ Ensure proper installation and protection of critical OSP components, buried underground infrastructure, placement of sub-ducting and installation of fiber optic cabling.
+ Bid and Resource Management:
+ Participate in the bid process for OSP construction projects, assisting in the evaluation of proposals and resource allocation.
+ Provide expert recommendations on the selection of resources, equipment, and materials based on quality, cost, and adherence to industry standards.
+ **Coaching and Mentoring:**
+ Coach and mentor OSP field crews, Supervisors, Foreman, technicians, and project site teams on best practices, technical skills, and industry knowledge.
+ Provide constructive feedback, guidance, and support to enhance team performance and foster professional development.
+ Conduct regular site visits based on project proximity, maintaining awareness of the full project scope. Communicate work order changes to the PM and assist in managing project close-out activities (testing, as-builts).
+ Lead workshops and presentations to share expertise and facilitate knowledge transfer within the organization.

+ Ensure all OSP construction activities comply with relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, safety, and building codes.

Summary of Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial fast track construction
Must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Strong understanding of retail tenant improvement
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Understanding of subcontractor responsibilities
Understanding of technology as required onsite
Knowledge of OSHA standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills

Proven track record of running successful projects

Job Summary
Roers General Contracting is looking for an Assistant Superintendent to help coordinate the onsite teams with direction from the Superintendent. You will assist in daily project activities including scheduling, logistics, inspections, material distribution, plan and specification review, and subcontractor coordination.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate project schedules and sequence
Assist in all site construction operations and assist in scheduling intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
Evaluate progress and prepare daily job logs as required
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Ensure that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed
Assist in updating schedules, tracking progress, and documenting project progression
Under direction of the Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, perform quality control and safety checks and provide on-site direction when preparing construction sites
Adjust to changes in on site operations as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
Maintain good relations with all city officials, owners, personnel, and subcontracted trades and suppliers
Assist in site preparation for early access to leasing teams and marketing teams to promote the timely delivery of the project to future tenants
Requirements
BS Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience
1-3 years of on site construction experience in multifamily residential new building construction
Working knowledge of building codes and ADA laws
A demonstrated understanding of multifamily construction means and methods
Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:
Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:
Ability to work under direction of Superintendent
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP trade drawings
