Manage project documentation and reporting in accordance with TxDOT and company requirements. Supervise and mentor CEI field staff, inspectors, and record keepers, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Review and approve project documentation, pay estimates, change orders, and reports. Participate in progress meetings, constructability reviews, and issue resolution discussions. Ensure adherence to Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and other compliance programs. Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and pursuit strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months through comity from another state 8+ years of progressive experience in construction management, inspection, or project delivery (preferably on TxDOT highway, bridge, or transportation projects) Strong knowledge of TxDOT specifications, SiteManager, LCPTracker, and DMS systems. Must have experience with TxDOT construction inspection contract documentation including preparing Inspector Daily Reports (IDRs), Force Account Records, reconciling Contractor Monthly Invoicing and providing detailed weekly progress reports related to both project progress and budget Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships effectively. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to work on-site as needed and travel within project regions.
