We're seeking a Superintendent to lead complex water/wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) projects in North Florida. In this role, you will take full ownership of field operations - directing foremen and crews, managing subcontractors, driving production, and ensuring the work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll DoField Leadership & Execution Lead and manage daily field operations for active water and wastewater treatment plant projects. Supervise multiple foremen, crews, subcontractors, and vendors. Maintain a safe, clean, well-organized, and productive jobsite. Ensure field work aligns with project plans, specifications, and contract documents. Safety & Quality Own jobsite safety - enforce OSHA standards and Petticoat-Schmitt safety requirements. Conduct daily job briefings and address hazards, near-misses, and corrective actions. Maintain high-quality workmanship through ongoing inspections and verification. Scheduling & Resource Management Build and manage accurate 2-4 week look-ahead schedules. Coordinate manpower, equipment, inspections, and material deliveries to maintain workflow. Partner with project management and survey teams to support layout and sequencing. Team Development & Communication Mentor, train, and develop crew members and foremen. Promote strong communication between the field and office. Complete accurate daily reports, timecards, production logs, and equipment reports. Support the Project Manager with risk identification, opportunities, and field adjustments. What We're Looking ForExperience & Skills 7-10+ years of heavy civil construction experience, with direct WWTP project background. Proven ability to manage multiple self-perform crews and subcontractors. Strong knowledge of heavy civil and treatment plant construction methods, including: Yard and process piping Structural concrete Equipment setting and alignment Start-up and punch-out Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, P&IDs, I&C diagrams, and electrical one-lines. Skilled in short-term planning, resource coordination, and cost awareness. Familiarity with rotary lasers, builder's levels, and total station layout support. Strong communication skills and comfort with mobile/tablet-based field reporting. Certifications & Training (Preferred) Competent Person, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Crane/Rigging, OSHA 30. Connectivity Cabling and Data Center Construction Experience 40. Multi-Project experience in large scale construction management, mission critical or infrastructure preferred 41. Unifier software experience 42. Procore software experience 43. BIM 360 software experience 44. MS Visio and Google Cloud experience 45.
