Corps members are selected college students from top universities in the United States. They are enlisted by TFA (Teach for America), a nonprofit organization. These members commit to teaching for at least two years in a public charter K-12 school in one of their low-income communities. Placed as full-time lead teachers, thus, corps members receive regular support and professional development training.
