Construction Superintendent
Paryani Construction
Full time job in Atlanta, GA
Company: Paryani Construction
Reports To: General Superintendent / VP of Operations
Job Type: Full-Time / Salaried Exempt
Experience Level: Experienced (5+ Years)
About Us
At Paryani Construction, we are more than just builders; we are partners. We pride ourselves on a "Client First" approach, delivering complex construction projects with the sophistication of a large national firm and the agility of a boutique builder. Based in Atlanta, our portfolio spans high-stakes Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial, and Retail projects. We believe the Superintendent is the "Head of the Job Site"-the leader who ensures that safety, quality, and schedule are never compromised.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for ground-up and renovation projects. You will be the primary field leader, responsible for the day-to-day coordination of trade partners, safety enforcement, and schedule management.
Unlike some firms where Superintendents are buried in paperwork, at Paryani, you are a key technical resource and a face of the company. You will work hand-in-hand with the Project Manager to solve complex field problems and ensure the client's vision is executed flawlessly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Site Leadership & Scheduling
Total Site Control: Manage all daily field operations, including site logistics, temporary facilities, and material deliveries.
Schedule Management: Create, maintain, and update the 3-week look-ahead schedule. Ensure all subcontractors are hitting their milestones to keep the Master Schedule on track.
Coordination: Lead weekly foreman meetings to coordinate trade stacking, laydown areas, and upcoming critical activities.
Safety & Quality Control
Safety First: Serve as the primary Site Safety Officer. Conduct weekly safety toolbox talks, enforce OSHA regulations, and ensure a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe practices.
QA/QC: Implement Paryani's Quality Control program. Inspect work in progress to ensure it meets specifications and high craftsmanship standards
before
it gets covered up.
Infection Control (ICRA): For healthcare projects, strictly enforce Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) measures and Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM).
Project Administration
Documentation: Maintain accurate Daily Logs (via Procore or similar), capturing manpower, weather, inspections, and site progress photos.
Code Compliance: Coordinate all inspections with local jurisdictions (fire marshal, building inspectors) and third-party testing agencies.
As-Builts: Maintain a clean set of red-line drawings on-site to track changes and as-built conditions.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Lead Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction projects ($1M-$15M+ range).
Sector Expertise: Proven track record in Healthcare, Light Industrial, or complex Commercial interiors is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and MEP specifications. Proficiency with iPad/tablet technology and field management software (Procore, PlanGrid, or Bluebeam).
Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour certification required. First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
Communication: Strong verbal skills; ability to have tough conversations with subcontractors while maintaining professional relationships.
Problem Solver: Ability to foresee constructability issues before they become costly delays.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Active Site Work: This role requires standing and walking for the majority of the day. Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and navigate uneven terrain.
Environment: Exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat/cold/rain), loud noise, and dust.
Lifting: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Why Paryani?
Empowerment: We trust our Superintendents to run their jobs. You get the support you need without micromanagement.
Culture: We are a family-oriented team that celebrates wins together. We care about your safety and your career growth.
Compensation: Competitive salary, truck allowance/company vehicle, gas card, project-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k).
