What will I be doing?
As a Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times

The Banquet Server works under the direction of the Banquet Manager. Primary responsibilities include serving food and drinks in a professional manner and providing exceptional service to your guest.
Primary Responsibilities
Attentively listen to pre-shift meetings; Communicate with support crew and management
Bus and set tables.
Perform set up and breakdown of various stations (deli, dessert, coffee, espresso, etc.).
Set up banquet room as instructed by Banquet Manager to include linen, service-ware and glassware.
Maintain complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function: Pre-function side-work; Particular characteristics/description of wines/champagne ordered; Prices for specified bar selections on cash bars; Station assignment and table set-up; Group name, type of function and expected attendance; Scheduled hours of service; Special requests/arrangements; Order of service, traffic flow in room; VIP's
