This is not simply our job, it's our passion. Job Summary The Attendant, Recreation is responsible for providing professional and customer-focused service to guests, ensuring a memorable experience. They will work closely with the Recreation & Leisure team to ensure One&Only service standards exceed guest expectations. The Ski Tuner/Attendant will be responsible for providing personalized winter equipment rentals, world-class ski tuning and repair services, and additional winter recreation services. This position will specialize as either an Activities Guide or Ski Valet. Key Duties & Responsibilities * Facilitates personalized winter equipment rentals from proper equipment selection, boot fittings, and binding adjustments to ensure guest safety and satisfaction * Provides guests with assistance with winter recreation activities such as Nordic skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing * Be knowledgeable about current ski conditions and other resort activities/amenities to properly answer any guest questions * Transport guest's ski and snowboard equipment from rental shop and storage to snow * Load and unload ski and snowboard equipment on and off the gondola * Provide guest with directions from gondola to key locations such as ski lifts, ski school and guest services * Operates resort point of sales and property management systems to properly bill guest * Continuously collects feedback from guests, reporting it back to management * Assists with any other duties that are required by Recreation & Leisure management or other members of the hotel management team Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements * Prior experience and knowledge of winter equipment maintenance and tuning preferred * Knowledge of Big Sky Resort terrain, current ski conditions, and additional program offerings * Experience in 5-star, upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement * Excellent communication skills * Ability to obtain ski binding certifications for mounting, testing, and setting DIN * Previous experience with Wintersteiger ski service equipment and Easy Rent software preferred Benefits * Uniform provided & complimentary laundering * Complimentary transportation to/from resort * Complimentary meal per shift * Subsidized housing based on availability * Discounts at F&B outlets on property * Winter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membership Physical Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.
