Responsible for coordinating the information from Security Management, Security Officers, Surveillance, other Casino Departments, Local Law Enforcement, and Emergency Medical Services throughout the property and including other off property operations operated by Four Winds Casino Resort. Responsible for maintaining close, continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and the entire property, in order to protect life and property at the casino. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Maintains a log of all radio and telephone calls into and out of the Security Dispatch Center. Notifies the proper authority depending on the nature and issues of the various incoming and outgoing radio and telephone calls. Assigns Security Officers as needed to detail and requests for personnel from other departments as well as responding outside agencies as needed. Receives all incoming calls from guests pertaining to Security matters, guest service issues pertaining to the Security Department and Gaming Commission concerning Security operations. Provides departmental information and conveys telephone messages accurately and in a timely manner. Maintains knowledge of all department Policies and Procedures, the Emergency Action Plan, Crisis Communication Plan, as well as standard operating procedures of Local Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services as applies to the Casino and its attendant properties. Notifies Shift Manager/ Assistant Shift Manager/Floor Supervisor of any pertinent conditions as needed and as directed. Promotes positive guest and employee relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service. Must be knowledgeable of the emergency power system, emergency radio system, and other assorted emergency equipment used by the Security and Facility Departments additionally must know how to respond to the notifications of each of these systems and know who and when to contact the correct responder to each. Monitors all assigned areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution. Utilizes necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property. Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property. Supports other employees, supervisors and management, with regard to protection of assets in their respective departments. Coordinates, with the Surveillance Department, when Security discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings. Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports. Makes suggestions and recommendations, as appropriate, with regard to possible changes in the policies and procedures of other departments, with safety and security and protection of casino assets in mind. Under the direction of the Superintendent of Transportation, Division Manager, or designee, the Dispatcher and Supervisor performs road supervisor and/or dispatcher duties. Supervision encompasses all field operations including: Investigating accidents and passenger incidents and assisting with vehicle breakdowns. Monitoring the performance of Bus Operators to ensure that fixed route service is provided and that Bus Operators perform in accordance with Pace standards. Performing field supervision of Pace fixed route service, special events, and other activities; and performing security checks at transit centers and park-n-rides. Dispatch functions include: IBS supervision and coordination of bus routes and Bus Operators. Maintaining work assignment board on a daily basis. Operating and monitoring radio and IBS; responding to calls. Coordinating detours and notifying proper authorities in emergencies, breakdowns, or upon Bus Operator's request.
