Credential must be appropriate for the teaching assignment;
Possession of one of the documents issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) that authorizes instruction to English Learners (EL). Including, but not limited to: Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential with English Learner Authorization or CLAD/BCLAD Emphasis, District Intern Credential with English Learner Authorization/BCLAD Emphasis, Bilingual Cross-cultural Specialist Credential, or CLAD/BLCAD Certificate. Three or more years experience serving students with special needs.

APPOINTMENT DATE AND ACADEMIC CALENDAR
The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term begins in the late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term runs from the middle of January through the end of May. On rare occasions part-time faculty are needed during one of the Summer Session segments.
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Regular performance evaluations of part-time lecturers are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These performance evaluations determine which lecturers will be retained for future and continued teaching assignments. And in some instances, syllabi, assignments and reading material will be reviewed by the departmental personnel committee.
APPOINTMENT AND SALARY
All part-time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month
The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. For a three-unit assignment, typical starting compensation ranges from $6,608.40 to $7,465.20 per semester.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION

JOB SCOPE
BrainStim Centers, the premiere TMS Brain Health Center of Los Angeles, owned and operated by neurosurgeon Dr. Mark Liker, is seeking energetic, people-oriented professionals to join our Personal Injury outreach team.
As an Attorney Education Specialist - Brain Health, you'll get out into the community to educate law firms about how our brain health services support personal injury patients and their cases. You'll also conduct EEG studies on patients in our clinic. We'll train you in everything you need to know - from our services to hands-on EEG procedures. When attorneys show interest, you'll connect them to our PI Department for next steps.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves connecting with people, is excited about making a difference, and wants to grow with an expanding TBI division.
Training covers BrainStim's services, EEG procedures, and effective attorney communication.
ABOUT BRAINSTIM CENTERS
BrainStim Centers specializes in advanced brain health diagnostics and treatment, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy. Under the leadership of Dr. Mark Liker, a renowned neurosurgeon, we provide innovative solutions for patients with brain injuries, depression, anxiety, and other neurological conditions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Initial Attorney Education & Awareness
Identify and research personal injury law firms in assigned territory
Conduct educational visits to introduce BrainStim's services
Present how our services support personal injury patients and strengthen their cases
Deliver marketing materials and answer questions
Identify interested firms and connect them to the PI Department
Track visits, responses, and maintain contact records
Clinical & Technical Support
Conduct EEG studies on patients (comprehensive training provided)
Set up and perform quantitative EEG (qEEG) testing
Ensure accuracy of recordings and equipment function
Work alongside clinical team and physicians
Adhere to HIPAA and clinic protocols for patient privacy and safety

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle - extensive territory travel required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor's degree
Outgoing personality and comfort meeting new people
Demonstrated initiative and follow-through
Professional demeanor and communication skills
Background in sales, marketing, hospitality, or business development
Preferred (but not required):
Spanish Language Skills
Experience presenting to groups or conducting visits
Comfort in fast-paced, dynamic environments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Part-time hourly position (15-25 hours/week)
Hourly rate: $22-$28 depending on experience
Mileage reimbursement for territory travel

Plan, schedule, and support onsite visits with partner organizations to promote OCCU offerings and present the value of credit union membership.
Collaborate across business lines to support the development and execution of campaigns that drive business and membership growth.
Support the Senior Community Education & Development Manager with performance tracking, event planning, budget monitoring, and partner relationship management.
Partner closely with branches - Recruiting branch employees to assist with facilitating the on-site events while sharing insights, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and contributing to membership and financial growth goals.
Deliver excellent service by responding to inquiries and providing consultative guidance.

Proficient in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and CRM systems (SalesForce).
Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to connect with current and potential members.
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and pivot with the needs of the business.
Reliable transportation to travel throughout the following counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino.
