The Inventory Cycle Counter is responsible for conducting daily cycle counts of finished goods and/or raw materials inventory to assess the accuracy of on-hand levels. Results are recorded and variances investigated. The position will use systematic problem-solving skills to identify root causes of the variances. Promptly correct or report potential workplace hazards. Other duties as assigned. Requirements SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, or Geophysical sciences. Possess a valid Texas Driver's License. Read, write, and speak fluently in English. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with other employees. Understand and follow safety rules and Company policies. Work requires demonstrated geoscience skills and the ability to understand "abstract" principles. Working knowledge of AutoCAD /ArcGIS and Microsoft Office computer programs. One to three years of uranium geology experience preferred. Work may require travel to meetings or off-site visits. Work requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs., over short distances. WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY: Working conditions are normal for field environment and an office environment. Work may require travel. Work may require evening and weekend work. Possess hearing and eyesight of correction to normal able-bodied level. Ability to climb stairs and ladders as the job requires. Ability to bend and kneel to access work areas as required. Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs., over short distances. Ability to work in all weather conditions.
