The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing guests at banquet events with exceptional beverage service, maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Responsibilities:
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with training and manager instructions.
Close the bar only when signaled by the manager, ensuring all closing duties are followed.
Properly set up the bar area, including glasses, stirrers, napkins, wine openers, side towels, juices, fruits, liquor, beer, wine, soft drinks, ice, water, and other required items listed on the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
Break down the bar at the end of the event, ensuring all equipment is returned to the proper storage area and the bar is left clean and dry. Call the manager to inspect the bar before leaving.
Follow and reinforce the service vision for The Palace, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Foster a positive and cooperative relationship with co-workers, maintaining a courteous attitude towards guests, management, and other employees.
Follow all house rules, safety regulations, and company standards.
Keep current on guest preferences and proactively seek opportunities to enhance their experience and exceed their expectations.
Ensure that the bar station is set up and clean before guests arrive.

Call the banquet department each Friday to receive the final schedule for the following week.

Wear a nametag as part of your uniform at all times.
