Adheres to the National Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack Programs guidelines and requirements in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Provides excellent customer service to all. Attend monthly Safety meeting, required trainings and in-service meetings. May be required to leave the main work site on occasion for meetings, etc. Job Duties / Responsibilities Responsible for the proper handling and storage of all food and supplies. Maintains a clean and sanitary workspace, in the kitchen area. Maintains a required system of accountability. Prepares weekly projections to order food and supplies for menus. Must complete all FNS and District mandated GCN tutorials, monthly safety training, and department sponsored training per USDA requirements by their due date. May be asked to come in two days before school starts to open kitchen. May be asked to come in one day after school ends to close kitchen.
