About the Role As Merchandising Supervisor you will be the expert in merchandising and leading associates to deliver excellent customer service through sales floor merchandising, pricing and recovery. You will teach, coach, develop and supervise associates while consistently executing merchandising processes. Serves as a full-time certified pharmacy technician. Responsible for operating pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Under the supervision of a pharmacist assists with healthcare service offerings including administering vaccines, health screenings, and any health services allowed by law. Ensures tasks are completed on-time and holds others accountable for efficient workflow. Under supervision of the pharmacist, strictly adheres to the Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing during all applicable prescription-dispensing activities and understands their role in ensuring that the elements of Good Faith Dispensing are met. PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico). Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting. Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours. Prioritizes maintenance and cleaning responsibilities across the club in an efficient manner. Operates the floor scrubber, trash compactor and cardboard baler machines in a safe and efficient manner following established safety standards. Restocks maintenance / cleaning supplies and ensures supply areas on the receiving dock and maintenance closets are clean, neat and organized. Performs minor and routine building repairs and notifies management when major repairs may be required. Maintains all club policies and procedures.
