In 1987, Lifeline was designated as Lake County’s Community Action Agency by the Ohio Department of Development.
All but five Ohio BMV offices were closed from mid-March through May 25, and the closures nearly cut the number of new donor registrations in half during the second quarter of 2020.
Just 28,000 Ohioans signed up to be organ donors from April 2020 to June 2020, making it all the more of a surprise when last year turned out to be a record-setting year for Lifeline of Ohio.
In 2020, Lifeline received the interim designation from ODSA as Geauga County’s Community Action Agency.
