The Global IT Network Administrator is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and ensuring strategic operations of Cold Jet's information systems globally, while also supporting day to day operations of Cold Jet's global user base.. This position requires a high degree of technical capabilities, communication, and project management skills.

Position Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Work with system owners/stakeholders to meet technical and business goals
Plan and coordinate installation and upgrading of hardware and software
Plan and coordinate system utilization and perform growth analysis and capacity planning
Network Infrastructure Architecture and Administration
Assist with designing, building, implementing, and maintaining computer networks in remote locations and corporate offices, ensuring redundancies while utilizing best practices are followed
Responsible for all administration activities associated with Active Directory management, Entra ID, and Intune
Manage activities and maintenance of Windows Server, VMWare, and SaaS applications
Provide support deploying, updating, and securing global applications and services
Perform server administration of virtual and physical servers, maintain server hardware, change management, performance monitoring, and system maintenance
Implement and manage network backup, archival, and DR activities
Perform systems/applications analysis/design to provide innovative IT solutions
Install security software, monitor for security breaches, and respond to cyber-attacks
Manage and plan technical standards and manage the daily IT issues of Cold Jet
Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance
Manage warranties and service agreements on IT products and services
Maintain and troubleshoot global telecom system (UCaaS)
Set up access for new employees; terminate access for departing employees
Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for all systems
Work with all IT team members to develop technology roadmaps
Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer Cold Jet's systems the best solutions and protection.
Assist in implementing disaster recovery procedures.
Training and User Support
Support global employee-base through tier-1 Help Desk support as needed
Provide training to Cold Jet employees on the best use of our computer systems and security
Make recommendations about the kind of computer training that would be beneficial to Cold Jet, as well as the employees who would likely benefit the most.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and peripherals issues.

Position Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Associates degree in a related field preferable, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 7 years experience in network management
4+ years experience in network architecture, automation and security implementation
3+ years experience in global SD-WAN management
Industry recognized certification(s) desirable
Skill Competencies
Knowledge of SAN, SDWAN, and virtualization
Knowledge and understanding of LAN administration in a secure environment
Knowledge of systems security protocol, policies, and procedures
