About the Role
The Scheduler is responsible for managing and maintaining production schedules within a manufacturing environment. This role coordinates the scheduling of individual parts across multiple OAMs while ensuring customer and production lead times are met. The Scheduler will oversee order entry, manage and adjust schedules based on changing requirements, and complete administrative tasks related to scheduling and production coordination. Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain accurate scheduling records, reports, and metrics to support planning and operational decision-making.
Develop, maintain, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with production goals.
Adjust schedules in real time to accommodate unplanned changes, equipment downtime, or increased production demands.
Coordinate with supervisors and managers to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure operational continuity.
Manage raw materials for current production jobs and coordinate purchasing and delivery of materials for future jobs.
Communicate directly with customers regarding incoming orders and delivery status of jobs in process.
Track and document schedule changes, adjustments, and updates to ensure accuracy and compliance
What We're Looking For
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required.
Administrative experience involving scheduling, data entry, recordkeeping, and operational coordination.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Excel skills preferred, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and scheduling trackers.
Experience working with ERP systems and/or workforce scheduling software preferred.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
