POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Associate is a key contributor of information, data, communications and external status information for all Nickey Kehoe Collection furniture and lighting orders. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and excellent in communication and follow-up/ follow-through. This role requires managing data with a high level of accuracy through effective spreadsheets, project management tools and other technical platforms to ensure that our Production and Product Development Manager and cross functional partners are
well informed with promptly updated accurate order status. The ideal Production Associate takes great pride in ensuring our customers and clients receive their Collection orders on time and damage free with a passion for items being made with exceptional quality and for the elevated home/interiors category overall.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Act as liaison between NK team and vendors, responding to inquiries promptly and ensuring they get the answers they need
Review and process purchase orders from Retail, Trade and DTC with accuracy and timeliness
Follow-up with processing and provide tracking as needed for NK Collection item orders, inclusive of fabrics
Update vendor provided information, costs, and completion dates on trackers
Ensure all customer COM and COT are received and promptly transferred to vendors' facilities
Follow up with vendors to ensure orders are being delivered on a timely manner
Inform internal teams of any delays or quality issues
Receive and close Purchase Orders as they are delivered and QC approved
Utilize our Shopify point-of-sale platform to manage and track all furniture and lighting orders
Reply promptly to internal and external inquiries via Slack, email or phone
Other duties as required by your manager.

This individual reviews documentation, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures, including, but not limited to timekeeping, meal and rest periods, environmental health and safety (EHS), and 5S guidelines. The individual in this role ensures seamless transfer of information and responsibilities across shifts and between areas, and identifies and leads continuous improvement efforts that reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
What you will do
* Execute and support all production stages which include but are not limited to; synthesis, cleavage, cyclization, conjugation, purification, reconstitution, lyophilization and in-process analytics. Sign off on steps requiring supervision, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, make data-based decisions and escalate to appropriate parties when necessary.
* Provide technical training and guidance on equipment, SOPs, and chemistry processes to support the ongoing development of each member of the team. Ensures that all team member Master Control requirements are met in a timely manner. Maintains training and certification records for team members, as needed.
* Install, operate and maintain equipment for production and in-process testing. The equipment includes but is not limited to analytical HPLC/UPLC, prep. HPLC systems, lyophilizes, balances, reactors, HF cleavage equipment, diafiltration systems, water purification systems, ovens, washing systems and others used in manufacturing.
* Schedule work assignments and ensure team members are able to take timely rest breaks and meal periods and that all applicable hours are accurately captured on work orders. Stand in for team members to cover breaks or lunches to ensure that a process continues, as needed.
* Actively present in the labs to ensure that operations are running smoothly, and safety and compliance requirements are met. Ensure operators are trained properly on the required standards of operations; BPR, SOPs, STMs, utilization, Safety standards, 5S standards, compliance, etc. Approaches daily activities with a continuous improvement mindset. Regularly identifies improvement initiatives and involves team members in ongoing improvement activities.
* Ensure availability and safe, efficient use of the instruments, raw materials and other resources while scheduling production activities and communicating with all responsible departments involved.
* Review BPRs, logbooks, other quality documents, as needed, but at least once daily. Act as a witness to procedures as required. Provide constructive feedback to Managers regarding team members performance.
* Initiate, investigate and close quality events (Deviation, CAPA, etc.) in a timely manner. Support investigations and implementation of corrective actions with technical knowledge.
* Ensure seamless transfer of information and responsibilities across shifts and between areas. Plan, attend and lead production huddles meetings representing production team, bringing knowledge of processes, equipment and schedule, as needed.
* Ability to work late shifts on a continuous basis and be flexible of working hours based on business needs which mayinclude some nights and weekends.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or the equivalent
* Master's Degree Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or the equivalent (preferred)
* 1-3 years experience in cGMP manufacturing and the related documentation standards, including safety, health and compliance regulations as specified by federal, state and local governments.
* 4-6 years pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
* Thorough understanding of all manufacturing stages and in-process analytical methods
* Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. Responsibilities:
· Carry out marketing research of products, analyze business data and identify trends.
· Form product concepts based on marketing research results. Work with designers to create the most exciting products that meet market needs.
· Communicate with foreign manufacturers on product designs and prototypes to ensure great quality.
· Cooperate with the creative production team to prepare marketing materials such as photos, videos, and e-commerce listing descriptions.
· Manage product information online to ensure accuracy.
· Analyze and control costs including manufacturing cost, marketing cost, and operation cost.
· Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales Team to boost profit for each product.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or above, design background is a plus.
· 2 yr.+ of consumer product development experience is required. Experience in toys, crafts, party supplies, apparel, and furniture is preferred.
· Proficient in Mandarin & English is a MUST
· Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheet.
· Experience with Photoshop or Illustrator preferred.
· Multitasking and the ability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Self-motivated, consistently giving your best efforts, and continually looking for ways to improve.

Virgin Galactic is seeking a talented and motivated technical supervisor to join our Test & Evaluation team to help get our next generation of spaceships to space! Guided by our values, "Safety above All", we proactively manage the risks inherent in human spaceflight through our daily actions in all of our testing activities.
As a Materials Test Technician Supervisor in the Test & Evaluation Department, you will focus on the activities surrounding the test of composite components and assemblies for our spaceships. You'll bring your extensive expertise in materials testing to help ensure that novel materials, joints, bonding solutions and part designs meet exacting standards before they are accepted for use on next generation of spaceships!
Responsibilities
* Supervise day-to-day operation of the materials test team, laboratory and inventory
* Execute tensile, torsion, compression, flexure and shear materials testing using equipment including (but not limited to) universal test equipment
* Collect test data and report results to engineers, managers and executives
* Oversee the trimming, machining and drilling of composite parts and test coupons to precise specifications
* Interpret engineering drawings and follow Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWIs) to ensure fabrication accuracy and quality
* Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality
* Adhere to set directions and guidelines from team leaders to support collaboration across teams to complete project
* Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians
* Monitor and control maintenance and calibration of test assets (universal test machines, thermal/humidity chambers)
* Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians

Required Skills and Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of six (6) years of experience in composite material test, preferably in the aerospace industry
* Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience of a technician team
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and/or models on paper or digital
* Extensive knowledge of and experience in lay-up procedures, vacuum bagging, and oven/autoclave curing
* Experience with structural bonding using both adhesives and mechanical fasteners
* Experience with strain gauge bonding on composite test coupons
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and composite machining equipment, including saws, surface grinders, drills, pencil grinders, lathes, mills and other mechanical tools
* Shop floor manufacturing and inspection technologies knowledge
* A hands-on mentality and an emphasis on continuous improvement
* Experience in an Agile work environment
* Execute other duties as required by Virgin Galactic senior leadership to support company and program objectives
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Familiarity with precision measurement tools (e.g. optical microscope, FTIR instrument, DGA instrument)
* Laboratory or industrial computer application proficiency
* Technical report writing skills
* Atlassian production experience (Jira, Confluence)
* Strong safety forward-thinking, practicing good housekeeping and tool control
* Proven track record of process improvement and technical leadership
Physical and/or Additional Requirements
* Must be able to work all shifts and be available for overtime as well as weekends when needed
* Must be able to travel as needed (10% travel expected)
* Must be able to stand for extended periods (4 hours)
* Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces

The annual U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,855.00-$123,342.00. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, and experience and take into account internal equity.
