The Northwest Arkansas Team at Baldwin & Shell handles general commercial construction, construction management, and design-build delivery projects of all sizes throughout northwest Arkansas. The Senior Project Manager plays a key management role in the supervision of all Project Managers assigned. Go above and beyond to help assist your team in any way needed. Resolve issues and disputes in a timely and diplomatic manner. Monitor project cost. Review weekly labor cost analysis. Prepare quarterly cost projections. Ensure that all items of cost are posted to the correct code. Resolve discrepancies between committed and actual costs. Project costs through end of year. Monitor monthly equipment charges to project in accordance with contract. Review subcontracts and purchase orders for any revisions or amendments by the subcontractor or vendor. Provide regular updates to Division Vice President and President. Participate in interviews and presentations as required. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Have at least ten (10) years' experience in commercial construction project management. Have at least three (3) years of experience as a senior-level Project Manager in commercial / industrial construction projects ranging from $30M - $100M and higher. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and have advanced knowledge of Project Management software. Be able to read construction drawings & blueprints accurately. Have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Have highly developed organizational and time management abilities. Have strong financial skills to develop, track, and analyze project budgets. Be willing to learn and expand your knowledge continuously. Be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test. The Project Manager is the individual charged with responsibility for the complete and satisfactory execution of the entire project. The Project Manager's duties will vary as required to support the Project Superintendent and other personnel assigned to the project. The Project Manager's first responsibility is to verify the estimation of the project cost and to execute all subcontractor and supplier contracts. Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of heat exchanger-related projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable standards. This role involves managing large-scale industrial projects, often in high-stakes environments such in technology and energy sectors. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Accountable for developing and coordinating carefully designed and approved action plans to successfully complete projects. Act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the Operations activities, including Engineering, Sales and Customer; ensure all parties maintain close communication and coordination regarding project status and milestones; maintain project schedules and report status in weekly Program Reviews. Work with Supply Chain to ensure that all long lead items are identified and ordered in a timely manner in support of the project schedules. Responsible for overseeing project budgets and coordination with project cost controller. Document and communicate project status, obstacles and resolutions to management. Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve optimal project execution. All other duties assigned. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Project management skills for leading and organizing projects, providing progress tracking reports as directed, and leading cross-functional teams at a high level. PMP Certification (preferred) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels) BA or BS degree in a technical field or business administration. Five-eight years' project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
