Position Overview

Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate and direct commissioning activities with clear protocols, centralized documentation, regular communication, and alignment with the master project schedule.
Oversee and approve system balancing, functional testing, and verification of HVAC, life safety, and other building systems to ensure compliance with design and performance requirements.
Monitor system operations through trend logs and data analysis, ensuring deficiencies are corrected and performance is validated prior to occupancy.

Our electrical Assistant Project Manager assists their Project Manager on projects and is the liaison between the field and the office. They are responsible for defining the project's objectives by planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to the schedule while keeping within the budget.
DUTIES & SCOPE:
Close support of senior project management team.
Develop project teams while delivering quality output, meeting customer expectations, managing to scope, delivering on time, and delivering within budget.
Develop and support project management techniques and schedule goals, procurement and contractual requirements, personnel assignments, and capacity planning.
Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes used by the department to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals with an emphasis on strong internal unit tracking methods.
Ensure schedule requirements are met. Readily adjust priorities and milestones based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completion.
Provide close support and oversight for third-party construction firms and subcontractors.
Manage project review process with particular emphasis on financial forecasting.
Ensure high-quality engineering, studies, and Helix project delivery.
Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks, and successes.
Oversee monthly invoicing process per project terms and negotiate appropriate change orders.
Coordination with Site Superintendent(s) to understand and assess installation methods, labor needs, and manpower forecasts.
Close support and oversight on adherence to the Quality Control process.
Close support to ensure that all downstream team members are meeting deadlines on assigned tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 to 3 years of Project Engineer experience in the electrical construction industry.
Understand engineering in electric power.
Field experience coordinating with construction management.
Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take offs, change orders, and contracts.
Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects
Demonstrated ability to run a profitable portfolio
BSEE or Construction Management degree strongly preferred.
Journeyman or Master Electrician's license a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking to hire a Project Manager to support the integration of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) into the joint operational environment. This project is supported by the Joint Test & Evaluation (JT&E) Program Office, which is sponsoring the work at Marine Test & Evaluation Squadron 1 (VMX-1) in Yuma, AZ as a Quick Reaction Test (QRT). Currently, units employing sUAS must operate within the assigned restricted operations zones (ROZs), which inhibits the full utilization of system capabilities.
The project will be conducted using the Department of Defense-prescribed JT&E process. The candidate will lead the 3-person on-site team and oversee the creation of a project plan, manage allotted budget / work plans, develop writing schedules, identify testing opportunities, collect and analyze data, and perform project management activities in accordance with the JT&E Program Office handbook. The candidate will work with the joint test unit, test team, test director, and operational warfighters to develop a test article, conduct field test exercises, and analyze the efficacy of the proposed solution. The candidate should be familiar with JT&E processes, requirements, and deliverables as specified in the JT&E handbook.
Basic Requirements

Review and approve daily inspection reports and payment quantities in accordance with requirements.
Prepare Change Orders for overruns, changed conditions and additional work for the COR as required.
Log and Coordinate with the designer to respond to Contractors submittals, RFI's and shop drawings
Ensure all work including design complies with CBP Tactical Infrastructure Design Standards.
Responsible for successful project execution including management of scope, schedule, budget, risk and contractor performance
Responsible for ensuring timely elevation of project issues to the COR for resolution
Identifies, evaluates, and mitigates risks, issues, and opportunities for construction efforts
Serves as the project expert and spokesperson for the project(s) with responsibility to present, explain, and defend program management issues and directions to higher-level official in CBP,

Qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Civil/site design experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Experience in managing similar construction projects in size and scope.
Professional Engineering (PE), Engineering Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT) or registered architect (AIA) is a plus.

Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an Senior Project Manager/Quality Control for a project with the General Services Administration (GSA). The GSA is seeking construction management services for two Forward Operating Laboratory projects supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). One building will include the replacement of ~630 SF of storage space within the 12,915 SF Main Building (built 2009) with a new forward operating laboratory. The second will entail a replacement of ~764 SF of agricultural lab space within the 77,337 SF Headhouse and Secondary Buildings (built 2018) with a new forward operating laboratory.
The projects are located at two of the busiest U.S.-Mexico border crossings. Scope includes management of design, construction, and post-construction services, with anticipated involvement of fire/life safety, audio-visual, electronic security systems, and millwork.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Coordinate and direct commissioning activities with clear protocols, centralized documentation, regular communication, and alignment with the master project schedule.
Oversee and approve system balancing, functional testing, and verification of HVAC, life safety, and other building systems to ensure compliance with design and performance requirements.
Monitor system operations through trend logs and data analysis, ensuring deficiencies are corrected and performance is validated prior to occupancy.
Maintain master logs and progress reports, document commissioning results, and verify equipment warranties, training, and O&M manuals.
