What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: * Monitoring and enforcement of technical changes and product measures (development orders, program items, change requests, change controls, deviation approvals) * Implementation milestone responsibility for purchased parts of the BRUV and CPUP vehicles for assembly, body shop, paint * Preparation and documentation of new parts meetings with the departments involved * Supporting introduction of new Systems and processes within pre-series logistics / logistics * Assist with review of technical documents, bill of materials entries and checking for plausibility and completeness. After coordination with technical development, initiate appropriate corrections in the source systems. * Tracking of complaints from the "technical offices", JIT/ purchase parts areas and planning, as well as initiation and development of measures for solution and correction * Manual correction of the Bill of materials in the event of missing or faulty BOM items * Participation in specialist group meetings, including representation and justification of logistical concerns * Support by testing vehicle BOM of planned pre-series vehicles (VFF, PVS, 0 series) against the technical logistical BOM * Analyse vehicle-specific issues for pre-series vehicles Location & Travel Expectations: * This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, South Carolina. * The responsibilities of this role require attendance in office with in-person meetings and events regularly. * Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
