Key Responsibilities Oversee implementation of safety policies and programs across all assigned job sites and fabrication shop Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance Lead New Hire Safety Orientation for field employees and conduct Competent Person Trainings (e.g., Fall Protection, Confined Space, Excavation) Keep safety documentation, training logs, and compliance records up to date and audit-ready Lead accident/incident investigations and recommend corrective actions Partner with field leadership to promote a proactive safety culture through coaching and mentorship Serve as on-site safety lead during high-risk activities such as crane lifts Assist in maintaining and updating company safety programs, SOPs, and job hazard analyses Develop trusted relationships with internal teams, clients, and external agencies Additional duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years of construction safety experience on large commercial or industrial projects High school diploma or equivalent required; additional safety training or certifications preferred Minimum 3+ years of total safety-related experience Strong understanding of OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations and jobsite compliance standards Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence behavior and build rapport Competent in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) OSHA 500 Certification preferred, or the ability to obtain after getting hired on.
