An established local distributor of building materials in Atlanta is looking for a lead Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service Representative for their Marietta Facility.
Previous construction product sales experience is required for this position. This position is responsible for performing retail and wholesale sales duties via taking orders both on our will-call counter, phone and email with contractors and the general public. The sales process also includes estimating the fabrication of products such as I beams, columns as well as other items. When no customers are present, the person will be tasked with prospecting new clients as well as other functions as directed. The applicant must have excellent computer skills as orders must be accurately entered into our computer system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
Speak with existing and prospective customers by phone and in person in a very professional and cordial manner,
Quote prices and delivery dates,
Estimating production times,
Order entry into computer system,
Identify prospective customers by using business directories,
Answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses,
Consult with customers post-sale in order to resolve problems if they arise,
Monitor market conditions, and competitors' products, prices, and sales,
Shop and order special materials as needed from approved vendors, and
Be able to offer value added services.
Education and/or Experience:
Experience in the construction industry is preferred to include either sales or production,
Very strong computer literacy skills,
Outstanding oral and written communications skills,
Excellent organizational and time management skills,
High energy and enthusiasm,
High integrity and a strong work ethic, and
Be able to read/interpret construction drawings would be a bonus.

The Senior Living Sales Associate is responsible for building and maintaining high occupancy levels at the Community in conjunction with the Sales Director.
Areas of Responsibility
Greet prospects, residents, vendors, and visitors professionally and enthusiastically.
Present the Community to prospects using relationship-based selling techniques.
Properly account for hours worked by utilizing payroll software platform. Work scheduled hours, weekends, and holidays so the Community has appropriate coverage.
In conjunction with the Sales Director, assist in coordinating and providing ongoing training to Community associates in sales, customer service and first impressions. Every associate must be sales and customer service oriented.
As requested by Sales Director, perform daily inspection of models and weekly inspection of market-ready apartments and follow-up with housekeeping and maintenance departments as appropriate.
Provide services and interactions throughout the Community which delight residents, prospects, and the greater community, with inspired experiences which result in referrals and high occupancy.

Required Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Minimum one (1) year experience in Sales, Geriatrics, and/or other related background with a proven successful sales record.
Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable DMV record; will be checked annually.

Preferred Qualifications
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and experience working with a CRM is preferred.

Oversee the bid management process for all bids submitted by the territory sales team. This includes understanding the project timeline and needs, prospecting opportunities with creation and hand-off of the leads, reviewing specifications, assisting sales managers in developing quotes, following up on and revising quotes, and ensuring that all bids and other documents are submitted accurately and on time.
