Our client, a leading distributor of K-14 classroom and educational furniture, is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative for its "Westchester County" territory, which includes Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, and Dutchess Counties. Candidate MUST live within 35 miles of Westchester County (EXCLUDING Long Island) and willing to drive into the territory up to 4 days per week.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in furniture sales, a deep understanding of the K-12 market, and a proven ability to build relationships with school district architects, designers, construction managers, and procurement professionals. - Other candidates our client will strongly consider would come from a company selling a high end product in a similar industry. - In addition to developing relationships with school administrators and decision-makers within the district (facility managers, purchasing agents, and superintendents), you would also be expected to continue cultivating new business within the territory. - The full sales cycle will be followed, from prospecting and presentations to closing and ensuring successful project implementation. - All employees are expected to stay current on products and market trends while collaborating with the internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
