Recently acquiring API Fortress (Dec'20), AutonomIQ (Feb '21) & TestFairy (March ‘21) Sauce has offices in EMEA, India, Canada, SF, NY, Austin & Sydney and enables enterprise customers conduct over 3 million tests per day enabling a flawless & trusted digital experience.In 2020, Aled was appointed as the Welsh Government Envoy to the United States assisting the government increase trade & export and lift the voice & awareness of Wales in the U.S.Concluding in 2018 as CEO of global telecommunications firm TeleSign Corporation, he guided the company’s $300m sale to BICS (a Proximus & Swisscom venture). Secondly, in 2007, defense firm AXSYS Technologies acquired Cineflex Camera Systems in a multi-million dollar private sale. As CEO Miles pivoted the business from media (it was used exclusively in the BBC's landmark series "Planet Earth" & Frozen Planet" winning a technical EMMY) to include defense sectors. (Nasdaq: AXYS. Acquired by General Dynamics). Much of his career was spent at security giant ‘Symantec’ (Nasdaq: SYMC, recently acquired by Broadcom) first based in EMEA (1995 to 2006) and then in the U.S. from 2009. As an executive committee member until 2015 reporting to the CEO, Miles was the senior vice-president leading the $2bn global Norton Software business unit.Miles is the Chairman of industrial IoT company “IoTium” whose services are deployed in enterprises across all four continents with offices in the U.S., India, Australia & Japan. IoTium is backed by March Capital, Honeywell, GE & John Chambers, Chairman Emeritus, Cisco. He serves on the board of one private and one public Australian company. Firstly, he is the independent director of the cybersecurity company Sapien, alongside Retired Lt. General James Clapper AO, former Director of National Intelligence to President Obama & chaired by The Hon Stephen Smith, former Australian Foreign Affairs, Defence & Trade Minister. Secondly, he serves as a non-executive director of ASX listed Whispir (WSP) under the chairmanship of industry veteran Brendan Fleiter. Aled also serves on the board of the National Conservatoire of Wales under the Presidency of H.R.H.
