Duties & Responsibilities: Provide guests with water, coffee/tea, and throughout the meal. Organize the Expo window, read tickets fully to ensure the correct dish reaches each guest. Thorough understanding of the menu. Running food and understanding of table and seat numbers through the restaurant. Remove used and unneeded dishes and glassware from guests tables to the dish area; scrape and stack dishes. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations; clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes; remove empty bottles and recycle/trash. Re-set all tables in assigned section as guests depart; assist server as needed; respond appropriately to guest requests- communicate with server immediately. Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned by management. Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure that guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Be ready and willing to assist fellow staff members as situations arise. Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
