What will I be doing?
As a Food Server, you would be responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Assist guests in making reservations as they call or arrive at the restaurant utilizing Open Table reservation system.
Assist servers in making table assignments for guests based on reservation size, time, and restaurant availability
according to Open Table.
Answer questions regarding restaurant hours of operation, menu items, and assist guests with any other requests as
needed.
Seat guests correctly at assigned able and provide them with necessary supplies such as menus, silverware, highchairs,
etc.
Answer incoming telephone calls within 3 rings in a friendly and professional manner.
Be able to multi-task between assisting guests as they arrive, answering the telephone, and assisting coworkers.
Effectively organize and utilize Open Table's reservation wait sheet.
Operate the electronic pager system according to the wait sheet and table availability.
Learn each server's name and corresponding section each shift and effectively rotate seating based on table
availability.
Ability to utilize restaurant systems to predict and accurately quote wait times to guests.
Perform restroom checks to ensure they are clean and adequately stocked.
Collect and clean each menu as well as clean and restock the greeter work stations.
Must be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding attendance.
