Duties and Principal Responsibilities: * Must be comfortable in a farm environment and in handling animals of one or more species * Follow standard operating procedures, document their work activities and observations, and regularly communicate with the Marion Carll Farm Veterinarian and/or the farm's full-time caretakers. Education Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program Training, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: * On-the-job training to operate a skidsteer loader is required. * Possess physical strength and endurance, be able to lift 50 pounds, and withstand the demands and rigor of an outdoor job in all weather conditions. * Dependably and thoroughly close and secure the facility. Rate of Pay: minimum hourly rate Period of employment: Begin Date: December 4,2025 End Date: continuing Evaluation procedures and schedules: Assessment of performance by Supervisor and Lead Animal Caretaker.
