Responsibilities:
As a Machine Validation and Installation Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful validation, factory acceptance, installation, site acceptance and customer training of our industry leading surface enhancement systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, ability to complete test plans, interact with the customer during acceptance tests and installation. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Machine Validation:
Execute comprehensive validation test plans for machinery, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
Conduct functional and performance testing to verify that machines meet specified design and performance criteria.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve any issues identified during validation processes.
Document and maintain detailed validation reports and documentation.
Acceptance Testing
Lead customers through factory and site acceptance tests to assure acceptance criteria are met, documented, and punch list items are collected then communicated to the project manager.
Support and coordinate timely resolution of punch list items to achieve acceptance to ship the system and final acceptance at the customer's site.
Installation and Commissioning:
Travel to customer locations and lead the installation and commissioning of machines, ensuring proper integration with existing systems and infrastructure.
Provide technical support during the installation phase, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure successful project completion.
Collaborate with the Machine Installation Coordinator, customers, and other stakeholders to coordinate and maintain installation schedules, budgets, and logistics.
Training
Conducts customer training on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and application development.
Technical Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
Develop deep understand of our surface treatment processes key process controls and application development knowledge.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and adhere to quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of machine performance and reliability.
Participate in design reviews to provide input on potential issues related to validation and installation and identify product or process improvements.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and validation protocols.
Work closely with the documentation team to contribute to user manuals and technical documentation.

Schedule/Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in machine validation and installation, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
