GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Arch Expert (AE) is responsible for maximizing sales in the Benefit brand by engaging guests to determine their individual needs, assisting guests in the selection and purchase of merchandise and performing short services, including eyebrow/facial waxing and tinting. Under supervision of the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician, assistants will maintain patients safely under anesthesia while monitoring vital parameters, help monitor patients during recovery and prepare them for hospital discharge or transfer to an overnight care facility.
Under supervision of the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician, perform in-hospital treatments for sick patients including giving injectable and oral medications as well as intravenous fluid therapy; keep patients clean, watered, and fed (when indicated and directed by doctor), safely walk canine patients when necessary for elimination.
Under direction of the HOM/HLOD, assist in the training of new staff members and general dissemination of knowledge as required.
Keep hospital environment neat and clean; perform regular cleaning of environment based on necessity as well as based on a pre-determined maintenance schedule.

Nature of Supervision

Position Overview
As a Solutions Leader on Duty, you'll ensure the efficient and effective operations of the Pet Care Center to meet the needs of the guest and their pet/s. You'll work to ensure all partners are providing each guest with the best experience possible by helping them find and purchase animals, supplies and services. You'll work the cash register and ensure that our merchandise is properly stocked and priced, as well as assist in leading aspects of the Pet Care Center's business in accordance with Petco operational standards and safety procedures. You can excel in this role by exhibiting a passion for the welfare, health, and proper care of animals as well as being a positive partner within the whole Pet Care Center team.

Functions as Leader on Duty for supporting for supporting Pet Care Center execution, training, communication and maintenance of company initiatives, pet care, legal compliance, policies, procedures, safety practices, and promotions.
Supports the ongoing replenishment and brand standards in partnership with the operations team within the Pet Care Center
Promote a positive leadership culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma (its equivalency i.e. GED) or the equivalent work experience.
A qualified applicant will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the areas of mathematics, and above average communication skills.
In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, applicants must also demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care.
Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.
Education/Skills
In addition to a high school diploma or its equivalent (GED), an applicant must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the areas of mathematics and basic accounting relationships and exhibit exceptional communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibility
Ensures partners are providing quick and courteous service to all guests throughout the Pet Care Center.
Ensures high merchandising standards are maintained throughout the Pet Care Center.
Ensures that the Pet Care Center is opened and / or closed in accordance with established P&Ps as it applies to SFS operations.
In partnership with the Pet Care Center leaders, ensure proper Pet Care Center attendance processes are being maintained.
Adhere to and promote established safety procedures for partners, guests, and pets.
Work Environment
The majority of job duties are conducted indoors, although customer carryouts and veterinarian visits will require that an employee leave the store briefly. Because this position requires bending, kneeling, moving merchandise (up to 50 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time, there may be risk of injury resulting from not following procedures. Ability and willingness to a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends to meet store needs.

* Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing industry trends, products, and services during work time, and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these trends, products, and services to better serve guests.

* In partnership with the EM, utilize the Ulta Beauty scheduling tools (e.g., services booking system, payroll management tools, Scheduling Opportunities Worksheet, and peak 25 hours) to recommend schedule adjustments that will maximize results.
* Communicate any supply needs to the EM, ensuring guest-readiness at all times.
* Contribute to maintaining outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the salon, salesfloor, restrooms, backroom, break area, and any additional assigned area.
* Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.

Assist veterinarian with appointments (routine and emergency), surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia's, taking direct supervision from the veterinarian(s) and the Hospital Office Manager or Hospital Leader on Duty.
Perform patient restraint, obtain and process laboratory samples, handle and dispense medications at the direction of the veterinarian, and maintain the electronic medical record.
Schedule appointments, communicate with and educate clients, relay test results to doctor and clients, maintain and update inventory as well as client/patient records, and manage accounts receivable.
Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures, safely support induction and monitoring of anesthetized patients including checking and recording vital parameters (under direction of the veterinarian), monitor patients during recovery, and prepare them for discharge to owner or transfer to an overnight care facility as needed.
Provide in-hospital treatments for sick patients including giving injectable and oral medications as well as intravenous therapies; keep patients clean, watered, and fed (when indicated and directed by veterinarian), and safely walk canine patients when necessary for elimination.
Participate in the training of new staff members and general dissemination of knowledge as required.
Keep hospital environment neat and clean; perform regular cleaning of environment based on necessity as well as based on a pre-determined maintenance schedule.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Provide backup phone and front desk support as needed.
Nature of Supervision:
In all activities related to the care of patients, the Veterinary Technician will take direct supervision from the veterinarians as well as the Hospital Office Manager or Hospital Leader on Duty. For purposes of overall supervision, the Veterinary Technician takes direction from the Hospital Office Manager.

Like all team members, the Veterinary Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring that day-to-day operation of the hospital is efficient and provides an optimal experience for our patients and clients.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no immediate supervisory duties.
Education/Experience:
College or college-equivalent education (completed) as required in becoming a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state in which the hospital is located.
Must have at least 1-year previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or working in a veterinary practice.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be compassionate and sympathetic and be able to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.
Must have telephone and computer skills.
Must be a team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments, offer creative ideas, and accept change.
Work Environment:
The majority of job duties are conducted in the Vetco Total Care full-service hospital. Position requires bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 pounds, as necessary) and standing for long periods of time. A large amount of this partner's time will be spent in direct contact with clients and their pets.

The role of the Bath & Body Works Safe and Secure Ambassador (SSA) is to protect people, brand, and property in their home store environment. The mission of a SSA is to assist the store team in preventing and minimizing risk of life safety and theft & fraud events through consistent communication, partnerships, and education at all levels.
Responsibilities
* Support sales by engaging customers and associates at the front of the store with a strong command presence, a smile, and eye contact.
Provide in-store support during life safety, emergency response, and safety incidents.
* Collaborate with RAPM (Regional Asset Protection Manager) to follow up on safety and security incidents.
* Problem-solve extreme store events using brand de-escalation tactics.
* Assist the store team with driving a strong physical security culture by educating and upholding all BBW policies and procedures.
* Educate and develop the store team regarding shortage and safety behaviors.
* Collect, document, and communicate asset protection (AP) trends, theft, and fraud intelligence with RAPM and store leadership team (SLT).

* Assist with Shrink Protection Program (SPP) assessment follow up and execution on action plans.
* Submit appropriate documentation in the system for all organized retail crime (ORC) incidents following BBW AP policies and procedures.
* Work with law enforcement and RAPM to identify and resolve open cases.
* Assist the SLT with modeling working safely, while maintaining a clean store.
* Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
* All other duties based on the business needs and direction of the store manager and/or RAPM.
* All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
