Write down order then place order in the computer.
Serve food to each diner accurately and in a timely manner.
Before serving, be sure to clear the previous course.
Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee, and perform other services as needed.
Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Total bill and enter information in computer.
Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course. Complete opening and closing side work.
Be a team player. Help other wait staff if idle.
Safety and Sanitation: Specifically you are expected to:
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Comply with safety procedures and state sanitation standards.
Be concerned with safety. Follow safety protocol to reduce the chance of self injury.
Follow safety regulations, infection control, and universal precaution procedures at all times.

Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Serve food and drinks following established guidelines, procedures, and policies for food and beverage safety controls as prescribed by company standards
Interact with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner
Ring in guest checks, handle money, and process credit card payments following company policies and procedures
Assist with seating guests, and preparing to-go orders
Engage with guests to provide a world-class dining experience
Become knowledgeable of all dishes and drinks to make educated recommendations to guests
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
At least 2 years of serving experience in a restaurant setting
REQUIRED
1 year of Fine Dining (preferred)
Experience handling money and operating point-of-sales (POS) and credit/debit card processing systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good time management and professional behavior
Open availability, including weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
