Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Actively participate in facility and documentation self-inspections, inventory management, and all administrative and operational activities.
Serve as a key point of contact during audits and inspections, maintaining full oversight of operational activities.
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Act as a designated responsible representative with authority over warehouse operations and business activities.
Train team members and manage day-to-day operational activities.
Negotiate supplier contracts, terms, and pricing to optimize costs and improve supply chain performance.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Work Experience Qualifications

Job Overview
This position will support Fayetteville and Leland, NC distribution operations. Travel required to both branches on a frequent basis.
The Manager Area Distribution I is accountable for the delivery and merchandising of company products to customers within a Market Unit which may include multiple distribution centers. The Manager Area Distribution I provides coaching, teaching, training, and leadership to the Delivery Supervisors to achieve optimal efficiencies while maintaining proper levels of customer service. * Manages Key Business Indicators to measure performance against company goals including the completion of delivering and serving our customers daily. This position plans, directs, and oversees the operation, maintenance and repair of the County's water transmission and distribution system. The position serves as or oversees the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) of the County's water transmission and distribution system. This position ensures water quality is maintained and that customers receive water at adequate flow and pressure. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing required water quality sampling, maintaining records, managing emergency responses, training staff, managing contractors for system repairs, and capital project planning with engineering staff. * Directs, plans, organizes, and manages all activities of personnel involved in operation and maintenance of the water distribution system. Provides technical support, motivation and guidance in their work activities. Evaluates assigned personnel for efficiency and effectiveness; initiates personnel actions of hiring, promotion, discipline, termination, training and development; and resolves or refers personnel problems or grievances.
* Ensures all required distribution system sampling, monitoring and reporting is completed in accordance with permits and State and Federal requirements.
* Responsible to designate and determine when precautionary boil water advisories are issued and rescinded to customers.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining a water quality monitoring program, including basic in-field water analysis and interpretation.
* Determines routine flushing locations and volumes. In addition, during the annual switch over from chloramines to free chlorine, adequately manages and plans flushing of the water distribution system to assure a proper "burn out" is achieved.
* Manages and maintains a flow database, including water quality parameters for each area of the system. The database includes collection and tracking of daily and routine flow readings from bulk meters (into and out of the County system) and monthly bulk billing for bulk customers.
* Prepares and submits daily, weekly and monthly reports to the public utilities management as required.
* Maintains a positive relationship with bulk suppliers and customers and ensures coordination of purchases and supplies, as needed.
* Responsible for creating and managing a preventative maintenance program. Preventative maintenance includes valve operation, hydrant operation, inspection and routine mechanical, electrical, and site maintenance at water booster stations, master meters and elevated storage tanks.
* Ensures necessary system repairs are completed through coordination with departmental construction division; and manages and schedules system repairs when third party contractors are needed, in accordance with County policy.
* Responds to customer inquiries and complaints. Keeps a detailed log of problems, solutions and follow-up visits or calls. Ensures customer complaints are handled in a timely professional and courteous manner at all times.
* Attends meetings and coordinates to provide/exchange information with departmental engineering and construction staff and third-party consultants and contractors to address distribution system issues and plan and implement capital projects.

The 2nd Shift Full Time Warehouse Lead is responsible for assisting the WarehouseManager and, or Supervisor(s) in all areas of Warehouse Operations by providing leadership to the team, training and evaluating Warehouse Personnel and processes, and maintaining the ability to provide expertise and hands-on assistance in any area of warehouse operations when required. The Warehouse Lead will provide feedback on performance, assist in interviewing potential candidates, provide direction of work to the assigned team, and provide guidance and support to any specific area of responsibility and, or team as designated by the WarehouseManager. This position reports to the WarehouseManager and, or Supervisor(s) and handles issues occurring within the warehouse regarding processes or personnel while promoting all policies, safety procedures, goals, expectations, and CCCI's purpose and values.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Leads and directs the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations
* Verifies and ensures all applicable warehouse processes are followed including, but not limited to, the processes for handling damaged product check-in, etc., while handling any specific areas of responsibility as assigned by the WarehouseManager and, or Supervisor(s)
* Trains and leads Warehouse Personnel and evaluates processes striving for continuous improvements
* Communicates with WarehouseManagement and Warehouse Personnel as it relates to identified process improvements, personnel improvements, quality, Out-of-Stocks (OOS), etc.
* Leads and models the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
* Supports, leads, and motivates a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engaging and developing teammates through effective on-the-job coaching and training; implementing continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus; embodying company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership
* Assists in interviewing potential candidates and influences and advises management on performance management matters. May perform other duties as assigned.
