Team Overview

* 3PL cost management improves efficiency through process optimization, optimizes warehouse and last mile costs through 3BD timeliness improvement and product packaging requirements
* Enhance the merchant experience by improving the quality and accuracy of outbound and outbound through SLA
* Develop a peak season preparation plan and communicate with 3PL in advance to increase the number of personnel and shifts for warehousing and outbound operations to ensure smooth operation during the peak season and meet KPI requirements
* By taking inventory and monitoring inventory, improving the accuracy of 3PL inventory and ensuring the achievement of inventory quality KPI
* Daily on-site supervision, cut-off monitoring of the order cleaning progress of each link, to ensure that all links in the system are cleared after production is completed on the same day
* Continuously optimize the WMS system to improve operational efficiency Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or above, 5+ years of experience in 3PL warehouse and self-operated Warehouse Management, focusing on small and medium-sized one-piece drop-shipping business
* Exceptional Data Analysis and understanding of WMS systems

About the Role
As a Warehouse Operator at Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, Auburn, WA, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse and distribution operations by accurately picking, packing, loading, and shipping steel tube and pipe products. This role is responsible for ensuring materials move efficiently through the facility while meeting quality, safety, and customer requirements. What You'll Do
Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
Process and fulfill orders from customers and internal teams.
Pick, pack, and stage orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting any damages.
Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using a reach truck or forklift.

Who You Are
2+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
Experience using scanning tools and inventory systems to verify order accuracy.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving ability to address warehouse challenges.
High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards.
Physical Abilities

Summary

Summary:
The Transportation Manager at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Transportation team supporting efforts to maintain safety and compliance, achieve customer satisfaction, and implement strategies for cost optimization. This position involves managing transportation assets effectively, promoting environmental sustainability, and driving continuous improvement through collaboration and teamwork across the supply chain and is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and has a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordination and Management:
* Safety focused.
* Responsible for management of Federal and State DOT regulations.
* Oversee all scheduling, to include daily truck routes, driver vacation planning, and truck maintenance.
* Manage the preparation of delivery documents for customer delivery drivers.
* Coordinate vendor & airport pick-ups with purchasing.
* Assist in developing driver incentives, safe driving, and cross training programs for drivers to improve their abilities and productivity.
* Manage and/or develop budgets for distribution center logistics as it relates to driver wages, fleet, fuel, R&M, and safety.
* Answer questions and resolve complaints pertaining to any transportation issues.
* Perform other duties, as assigned.
2. Optimization and Improvement:
* Daily route planning that drives safety, customer service, and efficiency for the organization and its customers.
* Use historical delivery data to identify, communicate, and implement route model adjustments to continuously evolve with the business and drive safety, customer service, and efficiency.
* Perform route ride a longs to coach, train, support drivers while gaining key experience and knowledge of customer requirements, traffic patterns, customer delivery times, possible safety concerns, etc.
* Ability to manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
What you Bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required:
* High school diploma or GED
* Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class A
* Minimum of four years' experience in the transportation management field
* Minimum of three years' experience in safety compliance, fleet management, route planning, and route optimization.
* Previous experience with Microsoft Suites - Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, Outlook.
* Effective communicator - spoken and written
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
* Prior experience performing analysis on existing route models to find opportunities for efficiency.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually
