The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$71,800-$103,200

Job Description
The Warehouse Operator I is an entry-level position within the Area Fulfillment Center (AFC), responsible for supporting the distribution of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) and non-CPE materials in a warehouse setting. This role involves a variety of tasks including receiving shipments, putting away inventory, fulfilling orders, and processing equipment returns.
Operators also transport equipment orders locally using company vehicles. In addition to handling physical inventory, the position includes inventory management duties such as cycle counting both CPE and materials, either at the warehouse or at designated partner locations. The Warehouse Operator I uses various software applications to complete these tasks and works under the guidance of AFC leadership and more experienced warehouse staff.
Travel: Local travel is required to deliver Cox equipment within the area.
Schedule: The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Eastern Time, though hours may vary based on business needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receiving and put away into assigned Bin/Row locations of CPE shipments and Material products from a Primary Distribution Center (PDC) or manufacturer.
Fulfillment of CPE and Material orders to various boundary partners (Field Service Technicians, Installation Contractors, Solution Stores, 3rd Party Stores, etc.) as well as monitoring inventory levels and restocking appropriately.
Utilizes Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications & scanners to perform warehouse functions.

Receiving & Inspection
Receive all incoming shipments of OFCI/CFCI materials, skids, and components.
Inspect incoming materials for quantity, quality, and damage; document and resolve discrepancies.
Track material shortages or delays and escalate to the Program Manager.

Maintain direct communication with site teams for full disclosure of order status.

Ensure local Logistics teams are evaluating performance of transportation providers and holding them accountable for a variety of metrics, including, but not limited to on time performance, cost and customer service satisfaction
Primary responsibility and focus, at the assigned regional level, for network costs, including but not limited to reviewing and containing average costs per trip, average costs per mile, and other costs related metrics to meet budgeted transportation expenses over managed territories
Drive cost containment initiatives through innovative recommendations
Provide support for organization
Direct Logistics Team in retention of and recruitment to the existing network to ensure that networks are comprehensive in geographic and mode coverage
Direct Logistics Team in field monitoring and issuing of performance improvement plans (PIP) for transportation providers' subpar performance
Ensure transportation providers (TP) are educated and trained in accordance with MTM and contract specific requirements
Ensure TPs are compliant with all requirements, credentials and policies
Participate in planning, revisions, implementation and execution of updated amendments and/or regulations
Responsible for daily guidance, development and performance of all direct reports
Provide contract and MTM policy interpretation and assistance to local Logistic Team
Facilitate town halls, conventions and seminars
Regular attendance is required

What you'll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
College degree or four years of related work experience
2+ years of previous experience in management or in a proven leadership role
3+ years of previous experience in transportation, logistics, operations, or fleet management is required (5+ years is preferred)
Minimum 2 years' experience as an Account Manager or relevant related experience
