Your everyday role as an Inside Sales Representative for PAM Logistics is reaching out to prospective customers, negotiating rates, and ultimately gaining profitable business through these relationships. Key aspects to succeeding in this role requires extensive cold calling, initiative for finding and developing new connections, and maintaining high performance levels within a competitive environment. In addition to the annual salary, compensation is made up of an individual, results-based bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiate relationships and gain new business through cold calling and prospecting
Responsible for soliciting target markets and priority lane
Cultivating existing customers into long-term business relationships
Ability to effectively communicate account changes through multiple levels of the company
Staying informed on current market conditions and trends throughout the year
Work closely with operational leadership to target key domiciles
Review customer lane files and ensure rating accuracy
Document customer correspondence and development in the CRM program
Acquire and grow new small and medium size accounts
Utilize Power BI and account research tools
SKILLS REQUIRED
2-4 year degree preferred or 5+ years of relevant experience
1-3 years of experience in transportation and/or sales
Ability to effectively navigate both external and internal communication
Self-motivated to achieve individualized goals
Enjoys a team-oriented, performance-based work environment
