Drivers may be designated to collect data in the northern or southern counties. Essential Functions: Drive yourself and other data collectors to locations across the state. Perform data collection on seat-belt usage of New Jersey drivers and passengers. Involves observing drivers and passengers in their vehicles to determine seat belt usage. Data collectors typically stand at a safe distance from the roadway to observe seat belt usage. Data collection is typically performed 7 days a week between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Drivers and data collectors can identify days they are available to work. Prerequisite Qualifications: Must have your own vehicle to travel to the site. Proof of driver's license and vehicle registration must be provided. Must be able to stand and observe seat belt usage of vehicles traveling on the roadway.
