Work Environment

Student Account Customer Service

Update task specific Campus Groups pages as new information becomes available.
Qualifications

Position Summary
The AccountsReceivable Coordinator I plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Finance department. You will handle payments, collections, customer support, and related business office activities. What You'll Do
Process and apply daily credit card payments
Prepare and process daily bank deposits
Manage daily and monthly billing correspondence: email/mail invoices, workorders, statements, and open ledger reports
Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding billing questions, payments, and account updates
Conduct collections outreach on past due invoices and missing payments
Maintain and update client portals; assist with vendor onboarding
Prepare and provide W9s and Certificates of Insurance when needed
Support Finance team members with various accounting tasks as needed
What You Bring
2-3 years of AccountsReceivable, Billing, or Collections experience
High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and general ledger systems
Experience with Sage is a plus, but not required
Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and financial reporting
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent customer service and communication skills

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Contact delinquent customers via telephone and email and maintain consistent follow up with these accounts in accordance with established performance matrix.
- Meet or exceed individual cash targets and call volume as assigned on a monthly & quarterly basis.
- Escalate accounts where financial instability is apparent, including but not limited to the following: - Payment & performance bond filings, lien filings and contacting end user or general contractor.
- Prepare and place identified accounts with appropriate legal counsel or third party collection agency.
- Work with field office personnel and AR Management to identify process deficiencies and implement established best practices

+ HS, GED, bachelor's degree in business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred
+ 2 + years' experience as a Medical Biller or within Revenue Cycle Management preferred
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment
+ Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Familiarity with ICD-10 coding
+ Competent with computer systems, software and 10 key calculators
+ Knowledge of medical terminology

A healthcare company is seeking to hire an AR Specialist\/Collections Coordinator. In this seat, you will report to the Accounting Manager and focus. Looking for an organized self\-starter with strong communication and computer skills. primarily on collections. This position transition to hybrid once training is complete (3 days in, 2 days out). The ideal candidate has 3+ years of collections experience, has a background handling cash applications, and ideally has experience working in the healthcare industry (highly preferred, but not required).
Responsibilities:
Maintain high volume of daily collection calls and e\-mail communication with customer base
Arranging for debt repayment or establishing repayment schedules based on customerâs financial situations.
Constantly following up with customers to ensure a quick and easy repayment process.
Reconcile unapplied customer payments
Maintain and resolve customer balances on credit hold
Report on aged balances to Management monthly
Resolving unpaid balances, advising customer of necessary action steps and useful strategies for repayment.
Maintaining an updated financial status report for assigned accounts.
Reviewing the terms of sales, service and\/or credit contracts with customers.
Performing various administrative functions for assigned accounts, such as recording address changes, sorting, filing and answering correspondence.
Locating and monitoring overdue accounts, using aging report and an automated system.
Requirements
MUST HAVE: 3\-5 yearsâ experience making high volume collection calls, in a fast\-paced environment.
Experience managing an abundant aging report of at least 3500 accounts.
Great energy and âcan\-doâ attitude.
Creative problem solver with great customer service skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, & Word.
Possess a high sense of urgency and be detail oriented.
In lieu of a Bachelorâs degree, a minimum of 3 years of equivalent work experience required.
