Overview

* Supervise employee expense report management.
* Administer the automobile expense reimbursement program (MOTUS) for field-based staff.

Position Overview
Fertility Billing & AR Specialist - Terra Fertility
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Cycle Analytics & Performance Optimization
Own AR performance metrics including days in AR, denial rates, payer turnaround time, and collection yield; analyze trends and implement process improvements to maximize reimbursement.
Claims Strategy & Payer Management
Oversee end-to-end claims lifecycle (submission ? adjudication ? payment), identify systemic payer issues, and drive resolution strategies for denials, underpayments, and delayed claims.
Financial Data Integrity & Reconciliation
Ensure accuracy of charge capture, coding, payment posting, and contractual adjustments; reconcile EOBs, ERAs, and bank deposits with monthly close reporting.
Denials, Appeals & Root-Cause Analysis
Lead denial prevention through root-cause analysis, documentation optimization, and workflow improvements across clinical, front desk, and authorization teams.
Operational Leadership & Process Improvement
Serve as the analytical backbone of the billing function - building dashboards, training staff, improving SOPs, and scaling systems as Terra grows.
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, Analytics, or related field)
Minimum 2+ years of healthcare billing & AR experience (fertility, surgical, specialty care preferred)
Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated strength in data analysis, reporting, and process optimization
Advanced Excel/Sheets skills; experience with billing systems, ERAs, clearinghouses, and payer portals
Employment type
Full time-40 hours/week
Full time on site in Dedham MA with possibility of hybrid in future
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly rate: $30-$40 depending on education, experience and skill set.
