Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Reclamation Crew Lead to support Nakupuna Companies on executing stream reclamation, land restoration, abandoned mine land (AML) closures, and other small, heavy civil constructions projects. Working experience in operating heavy equipment for earthwork, stream restoration, flood recovery, fire recovery, and AML closure projects. Must have a strong ability to interact professionally with colleagues, subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders in the ever-changing environment of a field construction project, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Reclamation Site Foreman will review and execute project drawings and specifications; manage and direct junior field staff; coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; communicate frequently with the Nakupuna Companies Site Superintendent(s) and/or Project Manager(s), clients and stakeholders when on site; and remain flexible and resourceful to resolve field issues that may occur.

Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working in Western U.S. and with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as non-governmental groups.
Experience with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, electronic timesheet and expense report submittals, computer applications is a plus.

Must possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record as evidenced by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

This Correctional Support Trades Supervisor I (CSTS I) is a Labor Crew Supervisor for the Delta Correctional Center (DCC), a Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) prison facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring the safety and security of the general public, staff and inmates; ensuring safe, secure and compliant completion of work and projects; ensuring proper supervision and training of inmate labor crews both on and off facility grounds. This position supports the CDOC Mission, Vision and Values with integrity and commitment.
Safety and Security - position trains and guides inmates in proper procedures regarding controlled items, key, tool and chemical control. Conducts inmate counts, shakedowns, searches, escorts and applies the proper application of restraints and use of force. Through conscientious observation and adherence to the Code of Penal Discipline, position promotes a safe & secure work environment on and off facility grounds. This position may be assigned as sole supervision and transport of as many as ten inmates to remote sites.
Operations - position supervises an inmate work crew in all phases of light construction projects which may include but are not limited to: carpentry, remodeling, painting, concrete work, trail building, road repair, grounds maintenance and fencing and tree felling and brush cutting. Assesses inmate competency through written and on-the-job testing, recommends hiring or transfer of inmate workers. Supervision - position is Work Leader of inmate labor crews.
