Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience. * Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with complex EPC projects, with the emphasis on simple and combined cycle thermal power plant projects. * Proven track record (minimum 10 years) in delivering power projects with experience managing overall scope and budgets. * Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills. * Ability to negotiate suitable outcomes that mitigate project risks. * Ability to identify potential delays in project plan, develop a plan to resolve potential delays and mitigate impacts to the overall project cost and schedule. * Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project controls and administration, including Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Teams, and Outlook. * Willing & able to relocate to assigned project site for its entire duration, and to a new project site upon completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Project Manager is responsible for regional gas processing and treating plant projects, field gathering projects, and will manage these capital growth projects and/or other operations or commercial-derived projects meeting project scope, budget, and schedule requirements. * Implement entire project cycle for growth capital projects including: scope and design development, AFE preparation and submittals, material procurement, execution and construction oversite, commissioning, and project completion. * Provide support during the development of construction agreements. * Work with (and guide) the Construction Group members in construction and inspection activities. * Projects are driven by cost and schedule to meet commercial commitments. * Communicate with project stakeholders including operations personnel, cost controls, project controls, project planning, and contractors for project implementation. * Participate in PSM activities for growth projects and develop and implement PSM work, including Design reviews, PHAs, LOPAs, MOCs, training, etc. * Responsible for technical review of designs, drawings, and studies. * Ensure work complies with federal, state, and local regulations (including safety, environmental, and DOT) and internal policies and procedures. * Work with process engineering group to develop projects that follow engineering standards, code compliance, proper company and safety standards, and good engineering practices. * Proactively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen project management knowledge base and proficiencies. * Provide guidance and training to less experienced project engineers, to help develop their project engineering and project management skills. Hold trade partners accountable to city codes and company quality standards and construction processes. Be able to proactively address issues before they arise. Nurture and grow our trade base by helping existing trades become more successful in what they do finding them opportunities to be better and help recruit new trades. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch. Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, lots of walking, reaching above head and below waist. Frequent walking on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, rock, etc.).
