7. Work with the installation department to manage and achieve all aspects of installation schedule, including labor allocations, shipments to the site, subcontractor schedules and customer expectations.
a. Monitor fabrication progress and proactively ensure material deliveries to the site are correct and on time.
b. Ensure that Engineering delivers all required installation drawings and drawing updates to the field in a timely fashion.
c. Continually coordinate with the customer to ensure that their contractual obligations are met in a timely manner, ensuring the installation plan is not delayed.
d. Monitor field installation daily progress reports to guard against schedule slip and opportunities for pull-ahead work.
e. Maintain an accurate “Non-Compliance” log, noting responsibility and total hours attributed to the issue.
8. Travel to the Project site on a regular basis to evaluate progress, resolve any site issues, provide support to on-site personnel and communicate with the customer.
9. Ensure contract closeout procedures are followed, by obtaining written acknowledgment from the customer that all deliverables have been transmitted, punch list items have been resolved and final payments have been received.
a. Issue a closeout letter to customer reiterating that the project has been closed on an agreed date, with notice that the agreed warranty period has begun.
10. Work with all SSI departments to resolve and satisfy any warranty claims.
11. Schedule and lead a project review meeting, within (1) month of completion, with all department heads. Provided the PM will have analyzed the project's performance, lead a discussion to identify areas of success and areas for future improvement.

* Manage project budget, resource allocation, project plan, project trackers and project timelines as required.
* Track and advise on project deliverables and tasks using appropriate applications, systems, and/or tools.
* Own and resolve any issues that arise during the project and drive risk mitigation.
* Drive team accountability for project results of staying on-budget, on-schedule, and maintain client satisfaction.
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to project scope, tasks, deliverables, goals, resources, schedules and budgets.
* Communicate expectations to stakeholders and team, gaining acceptance and accomplishing customers business objectives.
* Identify resources required to fulfill project delivery, collaborating with other Project Managers, the resource management group and other groups as required to determine which project resources are available in order to schedule

* The Senior PM should work with the resource management group to explore ways to drive efficiencies on third party project delivery.
* Oversee all products and corresponding issues (software licensing, shipment logistics, DOA's, late or changed shipment dates) are coordinated with customer and Computacenter United States Inc Sales and Engineering teams.
* Provide status reporting throughout the project to internal and external stakeholders on progress against project schedule, and any issues and their accompanying mitigations.
* Quickly escalate to next level of management and/or senior management any project related issues/risks that will impact the project negatively.
* Ensure all project team timecards, expense reports, status reports, issue documentation, project tracker(s), project plan(s) and project documentation are entered and/or updated into the Computacenter United States Inc applications &
systems in a timely fashion, verifying accuracy and completeness.
* Obtain client sign-off on the Project Completion Form.
* Perform invoicing and project closure functions including sending and following up on Customer Satisfaction Survey's.
* Senior PM's will be called upon to mentor those around them in aspects of leadership, methodology, tools, people skills, and navigating difficult customer environments.
* Senior PM's will be called upon to conduct mid project checks as well, as after-action meetings for continual improvement.
* Senior PM's will be expected to have the ability to turn around any sized project that may not be performing up to Computacenter United States Inc's high-quality expectations.

What you have
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum 7-10 years' experience in Project Management within the IT industry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
* Smartsheet proficiency is a plus.
* PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
* Legally eligible to work in the United States.
* Expert knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.

Senior Project Manager Summary: The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of traffic control and heavy highway projects from contract award through closeout. This role oversees multiple complex projects and serves as a key point of contact for customers, operations, and internal stakeholders. Lead projects from estimating handoff through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
