Byron Byfield joined DotHouse Health as Chief Information Technology Officer in July 2019. Before joining the organization, he worked at Compass Medical for over eleven years as a Director of Health Informatics and a Director of I.T & ISO. As the Director of I.T. & ISO his primary responsibilities included managing the I.T. budget, aligning the I.T. departmental goals with the organizational business objects and working with peers to develop an overall security/risk strategy for Compass Medical. Byron holds a Bachelor Degree from Dartmouth College, is certified as a CHCIO through the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and also certified through Harvard University on cyber security.

Dr. Huy Nguyen began his work at DotHouse Health as a pediatrician in 2003, leading efforts to promote early childhood literacy, evidence-based primary care for adolescents, and the effective delivery of culturally sensitive care. In 2017, he became DotHouse Health’s Chief Medical Officer. In this role he oversees patient care, population health initiatives, and clinician recruitment and retention, in addition to participating in organizational strategic planning and implementation. He continues to care for infants, children and adolescents part-time.

Prior to this role, he served in leadership positions at the Boston Public Health Commission, as Medical Director from 2011 to 2017 and also as Interim Executive Director from 2014 to 2016. There, he led new interagency and multi-sector collaborations to strengthen community-clinical linkages, led the local public health response to Ebola, and developed new policy tools to prevent teen tobacco initiation in the City of Boston. Dr. Nguyen received his undergraduate degree in biology at Harvard College, his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and his pediatric residency training at the University of Washington, in Seattle.

John Cooney joined the DotHouse Health team as Director of Finance in 2016 and became Chief Financial Officer of the health center in January 2018. John brings over twenty years of healthcare finance experience of aligning fiscal sustainability and operations goals to the vision and mission of non-profit organizations. Prior to DotHouse Health, John served as the Senior Finance Director at Covenant Health’s Youville Assisted Living Residences and as a Controller for Radius Specialty Hospital. John holds a Bachelor of Science in General Management from the University of Massachusetts - Boston and received his Certificate of Accounting from Newbury College.

Mary Irwin works at DotHouse Health and a Chief Human Resources Officer at DotHouse Health and is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
