• Minimum five (5) years of Events / Operations management experience; preferably in a live entertainment

JOB SUMMARY: Following the success of Island Nights Live Edition featuring Quavo, the park is expanding its nighttime programming to include additional large-scale live event experiences featuring well-known talent. This position will play a key leadership role in scaling these initiatives, ensuring operational readiness, exceptional guest experiences, and safe, successful execution of high-profile events.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and implementation of operating policies and standards affecting departments within the Operations
Division with specific focus on after-hours (nighttime) events.
Oversee all aspects of special event operations, including staff hiring/auditions and training, event set-up,
and tear down.
Provide hands-on coaching and training to ensure exceptional guest experience and activation delivery.
Full P&L management of nighttime events and optimization of strategy for enhancing financials / overall
experience of events
Effectively drive ancillary revenue / in-park spend through collaborative strategies in coordination
with the commercial (F&B/Retail team); specific to after-hours events.
Devise strategic partnership program to include scalable activations in coordination with commercial vendors
to enhance guest experience and drive additional revenue.
Serve as Manager on Duty for all nighttime events, to include responding to guest needs/concerns, staff
needs/concerns, manage general liabilities within the park and complete supporting documentation as
required. MOD also has direct oversight of commercial lines of the business as well (F&B/Retail) while
acting in this capacity.
Work Closely with the Entertainment group to ensure proper execution / facilitation of talent
Work closely with outside promoters / in house marketing team to promote the event
Work closely with Human Resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels and management for after-hours
events to include scheduling, payroll review and approvals.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and standards in all areas of

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum five (5) years of Events / Operations management experience; preferably in a live entertainment
venue.
A BA/BS degree in Business Management or related discipline preferred.

Ability to evaluate processes and procedures and recommend efficiencies and process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and execute to accomplish strategic objectives.
