Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO's) at the beginning of each shift to ensure understanding of products and services available for the event. Banquet Server Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: At least 18 years of age or older. One or more years of previous experience in food or customer service. Completes alcohol awareness and food safety programs successfully within 30 days of hire. Previous knowledge in serving fine wines and liquors is highly preferred. Valid Drive License to operate company vehicles. Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instruction and communicate effectively in English. Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations. Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.
