POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor supports the Plant Manager, Production Manager and Production Supervisor in leading and supporting scheduling, staffing, training, and resource planning. This person will be a leader with analytical and mechanical skills, have an understanding and focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and a commitment to team development and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation technologies to streamline manufacturing processes, increase throughput, and support smart factory initiatives.
Highly organized, with strong time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

The Senior General Manager is responsible for the physical and fiscal operations of the commercial assets in Ward Village and Kewalo Harbor. What You Will Do
* Actively participate in leadership forum for overall master plan development with a focus on the property management of its commercial assets.

About the Role
The CVS Supervisor Part-Time is to direct and supervise longshore labor to maximize productivity and safely discharge and load cargo to and from the long-haul vessels and inter-island barges so that cargo moves on the vessel of the customer's choice and is available when the customer wants it. The Supervisor manages the use of the Company's container handling equipment to minimize downtime and damage and maintain vessel schedule integrity.
What you'll do:
* Supervise and direct longshore labor engaged in vessel operations to ensure maximum productivity. CVS Supervisors rotate through a variety of assignments involved in ship and barge operations, including automobile operations, under the hook, water tower, and supervision of machine operators.
* Manage longshore labor and crane operators to achieve maximum productivity and optimize costs. Authorize and approve timecards. The CVS Supervisor enforces Company policy regarding start and stop times, breaks, and lunches. Ensures that longshore labor understands and follows formal standards of cargo handling to reduce damage.
* Understand and administer the longshore collective bargaining agreement. Act independently to provide consistent, fair, and impartial disciplinary action and make promotional recommendations in accordance with the agreement.
* Continuously monitor the work area to ensure compliance to Company, State and Federal safety regulations in order to maintain a safe working area. Responsible for the enforcement of the Stevedore Industry Committee Substance Abuse Policy Agreement. Investigate incidents and prepare accurate and informative accident reports to comply with the safety and damage prevention programs. Enforce Company policy regarding use of required safety equipment such as hardhat, safety shoes, vests, etc.
* Use Company computer software programs in vessel stevedoring operations to ensure accurate information is obtained from and transferred to the databases to promote efficient container handling. Recommend changes to the systems to improve container handling and vessel productivity.
* Monitor equipment use and lashing/unlashing to ensure Company equipment is used correctly and safely. Maintain the proper level of concern for Company equipment to reduce on-the-job damage and injury.

* Proficiency with personal computers.
* Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
And these qualifications:
* College degree preferred. In-kind experience acceptable.
* Strong first line supervisory experience and good leadership skills required.
* Familiarity with a union workforce.

* Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
