As a HumanResources Outsourcing (HRO) Associate at RSM, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive HR consulting and outsourced HR services to small and mid-sized businesses across diverse industries. Responsibilities:
* Serve as a primary HR point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee relations.
* Advise clients on HR policies, multi-state compliance requirements, and employment regulations, ensuring adherence to legal and best practice standards.
* Assist in the development and optimization of HR workflows, employee lifecycle processes, and operational efficiencies tailored to client needs.
* Leverage experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., Paychex, ADP, Rippling) to support client HR operations, data integrity, and system implementation.
* Guide clients on best practices for performance management, coaching, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
* Support HR assessments, prepare HR compliance reports (EEO-1, OSHA), and ensure documentation and policies align with federal and state regulations.
* Assist in building repeatable, scalable HR processes that enhance service delivery across multiple client organizations.
* Effectively communicate HR updates, present findings to clients, and collaborate with vendors and leadership to drive HR initiatives.
* Contribute to proposal development and support business development activities by demonstrating HR subject matter expertise.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in HumanResources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
* 2+ of HR Generalist or HR Consulting experience with exposure to multiple HR functions.
* Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Rippling, ADP, Paylocity, UKG, Paychex, etc.).
* Multi-state HR experience, including knowledge of state-specific employment regulations.
* Strong ability to multi-task, manage competing deadlines, and support multiple clients.
* Exposure to HR assessments, compliance filings (EEO-1, OSHA), and HR reporting.
* Knowledge of employee benefits administration, onboarding, and offboarding.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and stakeholder management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

OVERVIEW
The Total Rewards & HR Operations Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations and
administration of Spring Venture Group's employee total rewards and HR operations programs.
The Total Rewards & HR Operations Specialist also provides exceptional internal employee
service, provides support in the delivery of benefits, and collaborates with HR leadership and
third-party vendors to implement and improve employee benefit plans and programs.

The Total Rewards & HR Operations Specialist reports to the Director, Total Rewards & HR
Operations in the People department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
First point of contact for employees, benefits vendors and broker for total rewards related questions or requests.
Maintain, implement, and improve administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes. Coordinate daily benefits processing (enrollments, terminations, changes, distributions, compliance testing, etc.).
Managing New Hire Benefits Orientations.
Manage the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and partnership with vendor.
Compile and input employee benefit data in management systems, ensuring compliance to government reporting regulations.
Assist in annual audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments.
Assist with open enrollment process, including, but not limited to, testing and data feeds to vendors, communications, and assisting employees with enrollment.
Serve as a liaison for Worker's Compensation related claims.
Manage the HSA, FSA programs and partnerships with vendors. Conduct the non-discrimination testing, and any necessary auditing.
Work directly with insurance brokers and benefits vendors on system integrations,
employee benefit assignments, claims processing (including COBRA administration), and
billing to ensure accuracy.
Assist in completing annual benefit program audits by preparing, collecting, and organizing
required data for actuarial assessments.
Assist with Jira tickets by reviewing and responding to basic tickets from employees regarding benefits or system issues; help to review ticket issues to determine themes and ways to assist with those types of problems that are recurring.
Help with completion of various forms and paperwork such as ID cards, and 401(k) systems.
Communicate with employees who have life event changes such as Employees/dependents turning 26, adding a child, and reviewing workday requests.
Monthly file loads and audit/reconciling of participant in several benefits for system accuracy and timely bill payments with correct headcount such as Teledoc, Legal program, parking, wellness credit, tobacco credit, Identity theft, etc.
Manage the administration of 401(k) audits of eligibility and processing of enrollments.
Maintain, implement, and provide recommendations to improve administrative procedures for assigned benefits.
Assist with Wellness Program strategy and execution.
Document processes such a job aids, billing processes, how to develop basic reports in workday, along with other processes and procedures for the Total Rewards team.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Assist with Jira IT (service) tickets to troubleshoot minor IT related issues

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years related benefits or employee benefits
Skills/Specialties:
Experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while working to meet deadlines and provide exceptional internal service in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs.
