Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Generalist Functions
Provide daily HR support to employees and managers across all programs.
Provide support for FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and other leave-of-absence processes.
Maintain HRIS (Dayforce or similar) ensuring accurate and timely data entry and updates.
Employee Relations & Conflict Management
Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking guidance on workplace issues, policy questions, or concerns.

Conduct onboarding check-ins, stay interviews, and exit interviews; track trends and provide summary reports.
Support conflict-resolution efforts and help foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive work environment.
Assist with employee morale initiatives and employee appreciation events.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain strict confidentiality of all HR records and information.
Prepare monthly or quarterly metrics related to turnover, employee relations, corrective actions, onboarding, or other HR KPIs.
Support data requests and HR reporting for leadership, auditors, and external partners.
Other Duties
Provide backup support for other HR functions during peak times (recruitment, benefits, payroll, training).
Participate in agency committees and projects as assigned.
Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field OR equivalent HR experience.
2-4 years of HR experience, including exposure to employee relations.
Working knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA, Title VII).
Strong interpersonal communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
HR experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or public sector environments.
Experience supporting investigations or employee relations case management.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred or willingness to obtain.

Precision Ag Summer Internship:
As an intern you will gain exposure in retail sales, agronomy, and operations. This internship is an excellent point of entry for development into other career opportunities.
Agronomy - Learn to identify weeds, crop diseases, stage growth, plant populations, insect problems, nutrient deficiencies, and soil problems. What you will do:
Responsibilities listed include, but are not limited to, the following:
Conducts full-cycle recruitment to include, job advertising, sourcing, interviewing, and processing pre-employment background checks, and onboarding
Represents the local branch in job fairs, on-site hiring events, and build solid partnerships within the local community
Implements and adheres to company policies and complies with state and federal laws and regulations to ensure HR compliance
Enhances the candidates experience throughout the process in a timely manner and adheres to service level agreements (SLAs)
Maximizes best practices in recruitment strategies and diversifies candidate outreach efforts on social media and job platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Handshake, Indeed, MyCNAjobs, etc.)
Collaborates with regional talent acquisition and human resource teams with on-going staffing needs and maintains up-to-date employment records
Utilizes the applicant tracking software (iCIMS) and completes data entry within payroll and schedule tracking systems
Coordinates required trainings, confirms team member certification requirements, and conducts periodic audits of employee files

Qualifications
What you will need:
High school diploma or GED is required
Some college courses completed or a two- or four-year college degree is preferred
Minimum of one year of office administration, recruiting, and/or human resources experience
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software
Experience with an applicant tracking system or data entry software is a plus
Effective verbal and written communication
Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
Accountable, reliable, and ability to work independently with good judgement
Successful completion of pre-employment background check
