Subcontractor/ Vendor Management: The Project Manager is responsible for the negotiations of subcontractors and vendors. Ensure that all subcontractors and vendors are paid in a timely manner in accordance with subcontract requirements and internal company procedures. Manage the subcontractor and vendor claims, change orders and disputes . Documentation : Proper documentation is essential for the benefit of the Project and the Company . Ensure that all project team members (Superintendents, Engineers, Subcontractors) are submitting their required documentations ( ie . Daily reports, accident reports, T&M Sheets, etc.) . The Project Manager shall keep a detailed daily Diary of the project . Ensure that project photos and meeting minutes are being taken and filed accordingly . The Project Manager shall notify the client should a project record ( ie meeting minutes) are inaccurate and/or incomplete. Public Relatio ns : The Project Manager is our top official on any project and therefore handles most negotiations, at least in the preliminary stages .
