doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position,
you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.
Job Details:
This is a 1099/per call position
Pay is based solely on the number of calls completed.
Calls start at $35 and go up based on distance traveled
Pay period: Every Friday after the first week worked
Tickets are run Monday-Friday during the day shift. Candidates must be regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays to be considered.
Call volume is variable but is usually 2-5 calls per day
You will complete certifications from Dell and Lenovo as part of your onboarding. Certifications are online and free to you.
You must have a reliable form of transportation and a valid driver's license to run these calls. You will be visiting multiple work sites throughout your day.
You must have access to a computer and the Internet to log onto your portal each day.
You must be available to log into your tech portal each morning you are working by 9 am to code your calls and map out your route for the day.
The manufacturer has completed troubleshooting and shipped a part prior to your ticket being issued to you.
You will confirm service times with the customer in your tech portal. Services will be completed at the customer site (residential and commercial)
You will pick up parts daily from the assigned Fed Ex or UPS store for your territory before going onsite. Once all calls are completed for the day drop off the old parts with the pre-paid label that is provided.

Job Responsibilities

The Technical Support Representative III provides OnBoard Deposits product support to customers via the telephone and/or internet. Using their product knowledge, the TSR III provides the highest level of service to resolve the customer's issue and restore the customer to fully functioning status, while strengthening the customer Jack Henry relationship.
This is a remote position, and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; Lenexa, KS; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Louisville, KY.

What you'll be responsible for:
* Provides level one troubleshooting. Accurately assesses the customer's product issue or problem. Asks the user well thought out or detailed questions and carefully listens to the user's response to fully comprehend the need, product issue, and best avenue for resolving the problem.
* Researches customer problems/issues to increase personal knowledge and familiarity with the supported product and to provide the highest level of support possible. Keeps current on most recent changes and/or upgrades.
* Identifies and resolves application and service issues and any other questions that may arise. Answers general application questions.
* Provides appropriate personnel a precise understanding of user's issues when the problem needs to be escalated to a higher level.
* Monitors incoming cases and emails and resolves in accordance with Service Level Standards (SLS). Uses available support tools to assist the customer and/or recreate the issue.
* Participates in training programs to continuously improve product knowledge and service skills.
* May assist in training new employees or serve as go-to person for team members.
* May perform other job duties as assigned.
