Key Responsibilities

Set up and configure new devices following established IT standards (Intune enrollment, updates, baseline configuration).
Collaboration & AV Technology Support
Support conference room AV systems including Teams Rooms, webcams, microphones, displays, and sound systems.
Help staff with meeting setup, testing, and troubleshooting audio/video issues.
Assist with maintenance and documentation for AV equipment inventory.
Technical Operations Support
Perform basic network tasks such as cable testing, port patching, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
Assist with device updates, inventory documentation, and asset management.
Support IT-led rollouts, upgrades, and special projects as needed.
Follow security, compliance, and acceptable use policies when handling user devices and accounts.
Qualifications

Fundamental understanding of PCs, operating systems, and software troubleshooting.
Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, Wi-Fi, LAN basics).

Submit all required work orders, reports, receipts, timecards (Paylocity) and other company forms and records to the AOG or Team Lead Technician in a timely and organized manner.
Maintain a close, productive and beneficial relationship with ACI Jet managers, peers, colleagues, manufacturer's representatives, customers and other repair facilities.
Ensure safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively and positively participating in ACI Jet's SQMS program.

Job Summary
The Technical Writer Intern is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for various audiences, including internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. This role involves translating complex information into user-friendly documents and supporting the company's documentation system.
Duties and Responsibilities

Document Management:
Write, edit, review, and maintain technical documents such as user manuals, work instructions, installation guides, system specifications, and how-to articles.

Capture photos, and create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to enhance understanding.
Configuration Management & Change Control

Create redlines and update documents to support change management documentation.
Quality Assurance:

Solicit feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing engineering, program management, and customer support teams to gather information and understand product and documentation requirements.
Participate in product development meetings to stay updated on new features and changes.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical content.
Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions, audits, and other inputs to identify areas for document improvement.
Position Requirements

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Director, the HRIS Analyst supports and maintains the Human Resource PeopleSoft and other systems used by University Personnel (UP) and infrastructure that interfaces with UP. This position has strong functional knowledge of these systems and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity of the systems, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing workflow for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports upgrades, testing, systems security, complex data analyses and advanced reporting and, as such, requires an appropriate level of functionally based technical and analytical skills. Major upcoming projects include the consolidation of 24 California State University (CSU) campus databases into a Common Human Resource System (CHRS) system-wide PeopleSoft HR database, upgrading existing HR systems some of which include interfaces to the PeopleSoft HCM and converting from a quarter system to a semester system. This position will play a key role in these major initiatives as one of the primary functional team members.
The HRIS team currently operates on a hybrid schedule: team members will work 2-3 days per week in the office and telecommute 2-3 days per week. Schedule requirements could change based on project needs.
Department Summary
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) department reports to the Vice President for University Personnel and Chief Human Resources Officer. HRIS provides systems, data analysis and reporting, and process support to University Personnel in its endeavors to provide the full scope of service for Cal Poly employees in organizational development and effectiveness, classification and compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations, labor relations/collective bargaining, performance management, benefits administration, disability leave services, fee waiver, succession planning and employee recognition programs.
Key Qualifications
Functional working knowledge of enterprise information systems, reporting software, and large-scale database practices, including a strong understanding of system tables, data integrity management and integration between modules and other databases and systems.
Demonstrated knowledge of information systems policies, guidelines, problems and practices (preferably HR) in a large institutional or business entity.

Education and Experience

Anticipated Hiring Range: $80,000 - $105,000 Per Year
Classification Range: $56,244 - $134,676 Per Year
