In this role, Robert was responsible for overseeing major functions of the organization, managing cross-functional teams and directors, and collaborated with the CEO and board of directors to execute Inspiritus’ organizational strategy.

Robert has an extensive background in financial and project management. Prior to Inspiritus, he served as vice president of finance and administration for the Lutheran Services of Florida. He also served as chief financial officer at Families First, a nonprofit organization that provides empowering solutions for Atlanta’s most vulnerable populations, and held a senior manager position at Habitat for Humanity International on the finance grant accounting, grants compliance and donor reporting team. At Habitat, he ensured the compliance of all grants at the organization, reviewing grant portfolios that totaled more than $287 million for housing and development. Throughout his career, Robert’s commitment to service has drawn him to working with nonprofit organizations.

Robert received a master’s in accountancy, an MBA in finance and accounting and a bachelor’s in business administration-enterprise management.

Diane has an extensive background in strategic and crisis communications. Prior to MENTOR, she was a consultant with Camino Public Relations, a boutique firm with a focus on social justice nonprofit clients. She served at The Pew Charitable Trusts as the communications manager for a jointly sponsored advocacy project of Pew and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Prior to her work at Pew, Diane was the national media director at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She managed the development and implementation of media relations campaigns to advance the mission of the $1 billion reproductive health care and advocacy organization.

In addition to her nonprofit work, Diane also has experience working within the federal government. She was the media and legislative affairs liaison for the inspector general at the U.S. Department of State. Before entering the field of communications and public relations, she was a television journalist in Lubbock and Austin, Texas. She has a Master of Arts in political science from American University in Washington, D.C., and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. She resides in Atlanta with her husband.
